You can't touch players anymore. Refs and there restrictions have killed off defense. Granted I do believe more teams than ever are adapting the play with pace offense but the calls we're seeing out there aren't helping.
Is it just me reading between lines that Rajon seems not to like Chris Paul? Or nothing there really?
I’ve never believed Paul was a good guy. Good guys don’t punch people in the crotch during basketball games. They don’t whine to the refs constantly when they already get ALL the calls, and flop around like a fish trying to game the system. Good guys play fair and complain like half the time, not ALL the time.
This is pure sarcasm, so the coaching staff focusing on defense the past two offseasons have been a mistake. They should have worked on every trick in the book to score more points ala Har'en (initiating contact and getting to the FT line) or ala CPuke3 (flopping in general). So what happens now when these NBA players play FIBA-sanctioned events where the officiating is different, complain to the refs that "it's not how we do it in the NBA" and all sort of similar crap?
Hey the league used their flopping warning today, on Embiid. I'm on mobile and having trouble copy pasting the video but he had an awful flop last night to get Drummond thrown out the game down the stretch.
Steph is insane. I would like to see him on a crappy team (or with KD and Klay both injured for a month or so).
@Juronimo did the honors in another thread: http://lakersball.com/threads/2018-2019-nba-lowlights-thread.3236/
This is great. Thibs the coach would rather keep Butler than Towns and Wiggins but they're going to trade Butler. Who had gotten into at least Towns's head and will probably have some choice words for those guys as he leaves regarding what he's going to do to them next time he plays them. MN has not handled their club well after the luck and high picks they had for a couple years and acquired for Love in the trade. 7' Towns a head case now?
