team really looked bad when he wasn't on the floor to suck the d into the paint/punish denver for the overplays. lakers may need to think hard about finding another rim runner somehow.

thats what happens when your around that type of winning culture that Warriors players, Steve Kerr, and that FO up there have created.

We really need to find a back up center, Zubac's body looks ready but he left a lot to be desired out there yesterday (yes, yes 1 game and all that). We need Javale out there 48 mins a game.

Super impressed by Javale and i think he's going to have to play more than 25 minutes a game for us to have chances in games this year especially defensively. I think those videos of him playing pick up ball over the summer were not a joke. This dude can actually play and he's a massive upgrade over whoever we had at center last year

Javale has always been great in transition. But when the game slows down, he usually picks up fouls and doesn't produce as well offensively.

As long as we have Zo, Bron, or Rondo pushing pace, he should be fine. The problem is how many minutes can he play.

The new rule the refs are told to emphasize really messed with him yesterday. In general I hope they don't continue it in the regular season, refs were already a s*** show last season, this will just make things worse.

This needs to be bumped over and over again. McGee is really great for us. Scores, plays D, runs the floor, blocks shots. Really good fit. If only we had someone good to play behind him. Because Kuz/Beasley won’t work.

I'm loving McGee. Don't love it when he's out, though. As everyone said already, question is how many minutes a game can he play? I don't like our small ball much without Randle.

Our small ball might work well against teams that don't have Jokic. Or AD, or healthy Cousins etc. Otherwise, we'll get crushed. Seeing Kuz trying to defend Jokic was kinda sad, when you think about it.

Yeah maybe by next year he's a little bigger and stronger for the big guys. Kind of how Randle looked at first when they told him to come off the bench as the team's center now. But damn he grew into that over the course of the season and was evenly matched with holding ground and certainly moving anybody he banged on by the end. Doubt Kuz has that in him physically this season. But hey in the right matchups who doesn't want him out there with our other 4-5 best players as much as possible.
