meh, it's early guys need to get in shape, get a rhythm, get used to playing with each other, etc I don't think anyone should read into any preseason games too much. Realistically we should expect to lose all of the games, and I seriously doubt we hit our stride as a team until close to the All Star break. It's why we likely won't be top 4 seed this year. We'll lose our share of winnable games early on, and it will be frustrating. it will mostly be Lebron's fault though, because he makes everyone better allegedly. In the meantime, plz pray for KCP
Yeah, we need a better KCP - the shot selection, missed open looks, etc. Hart's coming for his job if he doesn't improve, ASAP.
Maybe a little isolation or even general population for a week or so at the "facility" up near Castaic Lake while the games don't count to help get his head straight again would be useful?
Hot garbage. He better step it up and show us something this season. I think it's his last as a Laker regardless but I'd like to see him contribute.
The good thing is that we have plenty of people willing to take his minutes in Hart and Svi if this continues into the season.
True, Battle Tested 20. I don't think he'll lose his starting job this season though while he's making $12 million and he has Lebron's agent. So I do want him to show us something this year. But I agree, luckily we have Hart who I think is already better than KCP and Svi who should develop nicely this season.
So what you all think.... does KCP being represented by Klutch sports increase or decrease his chances of being traded? Does LeBron protect him or does Bron get restless and make an "executive" decision? KCP's performance aside, it's pretty fascinating actually.
Highest +/- on the team last night. Started over Hart (who was a -13) but both played the same amount of minutes last night and both closed the game. I get that every team needs a scapegoat, but for at least this game, KCP wasnt that guy.
He was actually terrible out there. So far, his lack of fire has continued from the preseason so my gut was right. I hope this doesn't last all season, but I won't be sad when his contract is up. At this point Josh Hart is at least twice the player that KCP. Josh should be starting.
