Why not? I think Lebron is Satan's 99th inept goon sent to Earth but but he is younger and more relevant.

Well, nothing really needed to be said about Kobe, because we knew what we were getting and he was a Laker for life.

For us to land the biggest current star of all, even through our rebuilding phase, is nothing short of miraculous for the Lakers. So you can imagine the buzz around him coming here HAD to be a topic of discussion.

It's no slight to Kobe, just a nod to the brilliance of Lebron.

Kobe's thread in 2014... when he was limping around, a half-broken man? Besides, If we added every thread we've had covering Kobe on this forum, he'd eclipse this thread 2-3 times over.

There's nothing wrong with LeBron getting love. The guy is a Laker now and has catapulted us from the doldrums to relevance when he had no basketball reason to. Embrace the new age, it's going to be fun.

It’s not a competition. If it was Kobe would be on here posting on his own thread.

    Yes

Been saying it...the Mamba is the OG. Meanwhile his stans that pose as Laker fans need to GO.

How is Kob (a Laker Lifer...a 5 time contributor to our 16 chips...a dual Laker jersey retiree) ...how is that guy's Laker legacy in danger by Bron (a team mercenary...a 3 time champ and none of those have been for LA)...yeah, how is that dude going to touch Kob's Laker Legacy...like ever? He can't!

So all you small d*** having stans need to back away from the murals and if you must compensate for your short-comings then go get a pet mamba. Good nite!

And they are just stans. She doesn't have to do s*** chief. Whether it's a Kob Stan or a Bron stan...makes no difference....real Laker fans will do all the purging to keep our fandom pure.

The term terminate...bit too strong, don't you think?

Anyways with Timmy, Parker and Kawhi gone and Gino & Pop with one foot already out the door, you pretty much terminated yourself.

As for Sirron...How can I terminate such an adorable deplorable?

Last year Spurs were in the Western Conference playoffs with no KaWHI. That is very far from dead.

Ginobili about to retire. Popovich on the cusp of retirement. The team is built around dinosaurs like Aldridge and Gasol. The owners are getting divorced. Tony Parker bailed. The biggest hope on the roster is DeMar DeRozan suddenly isn't a choker in the playoffs. You might make the playoffs again this year, but the clock is ticking loudly.

The writing is on the wall for the Spurs. You have way more to worry about than LeBron and the Lakers.

The Spurs are used to the Western conference, this is Bron's first rodeo out West.

It’s completely normal ok to admire the abilities of a Lebron James and want him nowhere near your team.

What exactly do you expect Jeanie to say? Of course she’s going to patronize him. When you are paying somebody $40 million per year, there is no acceptable alternative to public perception besides 100% unconditional support.

But only weak minded sheep buy into it because someone says you should.

LeBron has been to 8 straight NBA Finals. Neat idea though.

And yet he's in the West when it's at it's strongest... Chose to come without an all-star... Didn't hold the Lakers hostage by committing to us for 4yrs on the 1st day of free agency... And his narcissistic a** did it without much fanfare, if you don't count that whole Ipromise school publicity stunt to announce his signing.

Bro, you admire a whole lot more than his ab-ilities...come out the closet homie.

Also, over the life of his guaranteed contract he makes less than 40m per and his final year where he makes 41m is a player option. He averages 37m per for his 3yr guaranteed contract.

As for the weak minded sheep thing...So why do you expect anything ever said about Lebron by the owner of ihatelebron.com to be followed by folks like me.... especially when dude clearly wants Bron baaahaad
