That has nothing to do with the play you posted. I was talking about Durant's wiry strength and ability to hold down Kevin Love in the post. I don't think Ingram can do that right now, but I don't think anyone expects him to.

The play you showed wasn't a strength feat. The screen Ingram "fought over" barely made any contact. He was just in a bad position on defense from the start - i.e. not between his man and the basket. A weakside block off a screen on the perimeter is completely different, but still impressive.

Before this gets misquoted... not trying to marginalize Ingram's highlight. It was an excellent play. Just different from the discussion my post was referencing.

    He's going to be Great!

And only 20 years old... The footwork certainly got better from year 1 to year 2. The future is so bright for him.

I didn't agree with the premise of that article because they assume Lebron is going to have his hands on the ball 24/7 like he has in CLE and just pounding the ball. Lebron has made it pretty clear he's looking forward to playing in Luke's system of moving the ball with player movement as well. Well the ball be in Lebron's hands a lot, sure. But not anywhere close to how it was last year.

I'm not worried about Brandon not getting enough touches.

Yes, it sounded cut and dried... James should be open to playing in Walton's ball movement system since it reduces further wear and tear on him. When the game is on the line however, he should tote the rock.

Most definitely because he'll get us the best shot whether that's him taking the last shot or finding a teammate wide open. He's proven both things can happen countless times.

He will still handle the ball; not as much as before, but that's not a problem. On the other hand, he will get a chance to shoot more and make some nice defensive plays. I expect to see him shoot some threes this season. He has shown that he can do this last season after the All-Star game. I sort of gave up on the idea of him gaining some serious muscle mass... if he somehow gets to 215 one day, that would be awesome. Those legs man... :KobeConfused:

:SadPau2: ... Meh the mechanics are bad looking which supports the reality of he's not a good shooter and won't be in the near term at least. Shoulda moved him when we had the chance.

ok, so i'm not a professional basketball player or trainer...but what's the purpose of the long-a** hand if you're not going to swing it with authenticity? i mean, they just wave it around gently. that's not how you get challenged in a game.

when we had finishing drills, our coaches ran through our bodies with a tackling pad.

It's just a visual thing for sure, but to be fair that looked like a fairly light work out.

There was another one where they would throw pads at him to finish through when he got to the rim. Might have been a different gym though.
