    Btw, Team USA mini-camp starts and Kawhi is in attendance....so will execs from all 30 teams. You know he's looking in one direction...Lakers, you gonna come get me soon?

    I'm interested to see how he looks...but not mad at this. Leaves teams guessing and that only means more leverage for us and those other dudes down the secret passage way.

    It IS after all, a business. Plain and simple. Any professional athlete who thinks or acts as if it is otherwise will most likely regret it when something like this happens.

    After DDR spurned the Lakers years ago, I was kinda (nah, REALLY) hoping something like this would happen, and here we are.:)

    It is a business, and I think most players understand that concept. But you can do business in an upfront, open, honest way, with integrity. Or you can do business in a lying, two-faced, manipulative way. I think DD is hurt because Masai was acting like the Raptors do business the first way when they actually handled it the second way.

    Also DeMar left money on the table by not taking the max and re-upping 30 mins into free agency per Masai's request. He literally "sacrificed" for that team.

    In an ironic twist, DeMar is the guy that spurned us by not granting us a meeting in 2016, but can still play the unsung hero in indirectly bringing back Kawhi for us. You can't make this s*** up haha.



    And here we thought Kawhi was a mute....(reference to ridiculously bad audio in the video)

    That was some real stuff from DeRozan. I was a little worried he'd hold this interview and end up going easy on Toronto and Ujiri. NOPE.

    What an awful, awful look for that franchise.
