The good news is that we have several plan B options available, and based on the development of our young guys this season, we’ll know who the best options are to pursue.

I’m assuming that he’s going to stay, and we’ll be making moves for other stars available

I think Alex McKechnie is great. But many Lakers fans during his time with us were also complaining that Vitti and Alex couldn't keep our guys from getting injured all those years and that their techniques and tools were outdated.

He has under average charisma compared to most other NBA players.

The average player in the NBA is someone like Tony Snell or Wesley Johnson. LeBron James lacks the charisma of Tony Snell?

klay is the better target imo, just alot less likely to leave though....his shooting is more impactful than leonard n his O is exactly what we need, off ball, catch n shoot guy

Klay or Durant for a dozen reasons before anyone else.

Barring either of them Kawhi, Butler, and Kemba.

Barring those anyone else we've mentioned.

Klay over Kawhi? Nope, not for me. Obviously we need to see how Leonard recovers, but before his injury he was a top 3 player in the league, IMO. I'd like to add that if at all possible. Certainly Durant would be target number one. But Kawhi isn't far behind for me. Klay and Butler just after.

But if we can weaken the Warriors while adding one of the best players in the league? One who'd fit like a glove in our offense and with our star? I'd love to break up that team and if we did it by adding one of those guys, we're going to take a massive leap forward.

Understood, but I'd still take Leonard if healthy given the choice. He's just that good.

Based off of Leonard’s personality, I could very well see him staying in Toronto. He and his camp are really going to have to hate it there for him to leave imo. He’s on a Contender in the East where only Boston is the threat there. The team as constructed is the same team from last year minus Derozan and Poetl. The team got exponentially better with Kawhi and Danny Green. Kawhi is better than Derozan and Green is better than Poetl.

Raptors have a chance to get the top seed again but really make some major noise in the East. If, or I should say when this happens, it’ll be interesting to see if Kawhi still decides to come to us. His desire to play in LA has to supersede what he can achieve in Toronto.

If he wants to win championships then he will come back West, but if he wants to set and break records individually and as a team and just live life modestly than Toronto is the answer. It’s not a bad city and not a bad situation. It’s not Cleveland or anything.

Also a lot has to be said for chemistry. I'm not sure it's so easy as "Kawhi > DeRozan" even if he is. DeRozan and Lowry were best friends. They fired the COY. I could easily see them getting off to a slow start.

Klay has Laker in his blood and I would love that dude in a Laker uni...but over Kawhi...

And keep KD's lame a** in the bay, so we can beat the blocks off that dy-nah-sty team.

Agree on Kawhi over Klay, but . . . I'll take KD over either, any day of the week. That would mean Championships - as in multiple. KD with Lebron and this young squad? Holy cow. GS would get destroyed. Everyone would get destroyed!!
