Bro you're literally ignoring what I'm saying.

LOOK AT WHAT PAUL GEORGE SAID THE MOMENT HE WAS TRADED!!! HE WAS HYPED! TALKING ABOUT PLAYING WITH WESTBROOK!

What has kawhi said since he's been traded? Nothing. And his silence says everything. He's NOT excited about going to Toronto and he's NOT excited about playing with aging Lowry and Ibaka.

Was thinking, if it's a sure bet that Leonard is coming next season. Maybe we should sit LeBron (or play him like 15 mpg) so he rests, let the young guys develop. And tank our assess off. We could land a top pick and Leonard, plus have a fresh LeBron...

    LOL

Yeah but Toronto doesn't have that same pretty girl that OKC has.

Leonard is done. Physically destroyed. I think I’m doing this right.

Btw. Anyone else feeling bad for DD?

No. Eff him. Didn't want to come to the Lakers, didn't give us a meeting, and as recent as 3 weeks ago, someone said "come to the Lakers!" and he said "hell nah".

    Karma b****.

Lol, no. That’s what happens when you choose Toronto, don’t even give any other franchises a meeting in free agency, see what it’s like out there, and then flame out in the playoffs year after year. I feel bad for DeRozan like I feel bad for Blake Griffin. You choose a s*** organization you get what you deserve.

Leonard hasn't said anything this whole time dude. His silence means nothing.

Paul George was flirting with the Lakers the whole time he was on the Thunder. I was at the game when the Thunder played the Lakers and sat a few rows behind his parents. If you were there, you would've been convinced the guy wanted to come home. The whole Staples Center was cheering for him. Not to mention so many interviews where he hinted about "wanting to come home" etc all while wearing a Thunder jersey.

Talk is cheap. We bet on the young kids and that's fine. I understand it. I just disagree.

Interesting. He gave it all to Toronto. I give him lots of respect. Kawhi behaved like a child. Mentally weak. Again, i think I’m doing this right.

Kawhi is not Little P. He’s a former Finals MVP, he came up with Tim Duncan and Pop. He’s not going from Indy to OKC to be marveled by Westbrook and this whole new shiny thing he’s never experienced before. He’s going from San Antonio to Toronto, a lateral move in terms of environment, and like a jump off a cliff in terms of winning and culture. He may not choose us, he might be interested in multiple big cities, I think NY is in play, but our chances aren’t lessened by this trade at all, IMHO.

Again...has Kawhi come out and said "IM SO EXCITED TO PLAY WITH LOWRY!" like Paul George did? NO.

The situations are vastly different already. Paul George expressed excitement and optimism with the Thunder when he got traded there....i don't see any of that with Kawhi thus far...

I guess we can agree to disagree. But assuming we don't get Leonard, I fail to see how we contend while LeBron is still in his prime.

When it's said and done he loses less than 20 mio. Imo.

He can sign another max after this deal so that 5th year guaranteed is pretty much worthless for a top 3 NBA player.

I also think he'll play in Toronto. What he loses on the supermax he will partially recover through sponsorship in LA later (with the Lakers that is) and he will make more money than he ever will need or will spend. Might also sacrifice a few to live where he loves. It's not like he will have many lives. He will never be 27 again. It's one life. You have enough money you do what makes you happy.

Please lets respect the man and avoid clumping him into any comparisons to Pauline. One wears heels and the other use to wear spurs... Their foot wear is the only remote similarity they have.

When did I say I wouldn't move or trade for Kawhi if Svi or Moe was in the deal. I've said all along that I wouldn't trade - Kuz, Ingram, Hart, or Zo for Kawhi or any package of those players.

Now I love me some Moe and Svi, especially Moe and that infectious personality but those guys are unproven at the NBA level. I would include one or both in a deal for Kawhi. But that doesn't mean I don't want to know how that quad looks/responds to an 82 game season and playoff run that I'm sure the Raptors will have because they are in the East.

Competitive athletes like James will always believe they can win. That's the point. He probably thought he could win last season too, but everyone knew the Warriors were going to kick their a**.

I'm not disagreeing with you at all, only trying to heighten your point... but who in Toronto is Kawhi even going to Marvel about?? OG (the rookie), Lowry (the choker), Ibaka (who is washed up), brand new, first time Head Coach in Nick Nurse???

This is not like OKC as @Weezy said with an MVP in Westbrook.

@bfc1125roy I'm not sure what your point is comparing the PG situation with Kawhi in Toronto...
