    You're arguing a literal logical fallacy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argument_from_authority

Instead, why not read some of the content I shared - which cites many, many peer reviewed studies. And come back and let's have an actual discussion.

Why? I’m not a doctor. But I do trust NBA doctors more than a poster in a Laker’s forum.

The Spurs medical team is disputing Kawhi’s medical team about his injury. This has caused Kawhi on possibly losing a $219 million contract offer while other NBA GM’s are saying they cannot get a read of Kawhi’s health and very worried he’ll be back to being the same player to make a signincant offer for him.

Yet here you are in a Lakers message board linking reddit and Wikipedia that Kawhi should be healthy and back to being a top star player that Lakers should trade for him now no worries!

    Okie dokie!

If you go to the beginning of those threads, you will find the only thing people were against were the 4th year not being a team option.

Wasn't on this board then... but I hated them, and I know many fans who did as well.

Did you bother reading the painscience links? With multiple published studies cited for each point. The reddit link was a good summary in case the other material was too dense for you.

An appeal to authority is a textbook logical fallacy. You can find many more links beyond wikipedia discussing that. I guess it's pointless to argue anything, since all the smart people in the front office and training staff know everything. Never mind if you go to any Sixer's fan site, they all HATE their medical staff. But since they're not doctors I guess they don't know anything... right??

Guess I just trust NBA doctors and medical staffs who actually have diagnosed and seen the patient in question in person, over someone on a Lakers message board who bases his findings on the internet.

I know you have a lot more to say below and there's a ton more to read now re: what someone wrote medically about the injury.

But I'll just answer your last question with do you really have yourself that "much of a short term memory" about how much San Antonio is asking back from the Lakers to trade him to us?

All we know is the Spurs doctors misdiagnosed him, and that Leonard is getting private treatment in New York. We haven't heard anything from anyone who has actually diagnosed and seen Leonard in person.

Anyways, until you bother to educate yourself further on the subject, this is a pointless discussion.

Guess what? The doctor who is giving Leonard’s private treatment in New York is employed by the Sixers!

Guess what? The Sixers have an idea of what Leonard’s injury is.

Guess what? The Sixers still aren’t giving up significant assets for Kawhi.

Don’t worry I’m educated. I just don’t try to pretend to know everything more than all the paid professionals.

You ever heard about doctor-patient confidentiality?

And if the paid professionals know everything, then what's the point of debating trades, roster moves, draft picks etc on this forum? Because Magic and Pelinka, along with all other FO execs, clearly know more than us because they are... PAID PROFESSIONALS

Um, yeah! They do their job. Then we discuss and debate. That’s what message boards are for lol

If you know better then get paid! Get a front office job or medical degree with the organization. People here in LB would support it!

I also think DeRozan is trash.

So Kawhi going to Toronto is good. DeRozan stinking up San Antonio is great.

It could be another PG dilemma but so be it. 8f you don't want to come, gtfo.

It's not like Thunder had ANYTHING. Their weather sucks too, Toronto is a better city overall. But still... Chances are Kawhi isn't cut from the same cloth as P**** P.
