Woj said the exact same thing on SportsCenter yesterday, so I buy it.

"Be great, or be good coming off the bench."

great players aren't just "given" starting spots in the NBA....

So raise your hand if you're nervous like me that this acquisition of Rondo will trigger LaVar to act out and pull Lonzo off the Lakers team and home basketball him in preparation for The Big Baller Tour where Lonzo and his brothers plus two will play Washington Generals type teams across the country for $200 a ticket.. No damn NBA team is going to throw shade on Lonzo!

Kuzma talked of how Thomas yelled at him a lot last season... Well, this is different. I can see Rondo glaring at him, Ball and Hart to knock s**t off, let them know this is serious business. I wish Randle was still with us because he had the intensity that Rondo would have meshed with.

Stephenson can bond with Ingram... I mean, he had Stackhouse to begin with who was no teddy bear.

James in all this? He'll be who he is. Fulcrum. Sometime fashion coordinator...

Lord. He'll have our team wearing short suit pants. Look what he did to Clarkson.

Rondo on Paul... Rondo on Lillard... Rondo on Curry... Rondo on Irving... Rondo on Wall...

I still have one eye open on the guy but I do like the possibilities.

There’s not even a hem on JC’s shorts. What did he do, cut them shorter?

Antoine Walker, of all people, on Cris Carter's show brings up a good point with Rondo and playing with the young guys: he was the only one to stand up for the young guys on the Bulls when Wade & Jimmy - who weren't even practicing - criticized the team after a loss to Atlanta.

He'll make Luke's job easier, IMO.

Even back when we played the C Bags for the championship, Rondo was the only one I kind of liked and respected.

It'll take a while to wash the C stench off him in my mind, but I'm sure I'll love him once he's on the court.

We finally have a competent backup PG

I hate Rondo, but I definitely respect his game. I don't know how anyone wouldn't. I do agree that Rondo fills two very important roles for us. One, he is a supremely competent veteran backup/starting PG. Secondly, I believe that Rondo is going to play bad cop to Lebron's good cop/mentoring role for Lonzo. Rondo will toughen him up and compete with him for minutes. It's the best thing for him honestly.

Or Lance on Klay, Lance on KD, Lance on Harden, Lance on Mitchell, Lance on Tatum.

We got a scrappy a$% team that are going to frustrate a lot of people. I freakin love it.

Hollins got the PG thing wrong, Ramona won that one. But I’m liking Hollins going forward as an NBA resource for the scoop.

He needed it last year. George Hill killed that. Glad Magic / Rob fixed this.
