I think Lavar is going to be vocal about a lot of stuff this year, good or bad. We're just gonna have to take it.

But I'm not going to worry about that until it happens, cross that bridge when we get there sort of thing.

Frankly I wouldn't be surprised if Rondo does beat out Zo for the starting gig.

We got Bron already. Stop reaching and taking BI+Deng+19 1st. You guys had a chance to get Randle too, but missed out.

-1000 to sign next year, you guys are lucky to even get that from us.

I mean I understand your initial offer should be high but if the Spurs are really hell bent on not lowering their stance on this then there's no way the Lakers should give in. Just tell us you don't want to deal him to the Lakers and we'll move on and try our chances next offseason. If they threaten to trade him to the Clippers I dare them to do so. Kawhi will be in LA the whole year where he'll be hearing from Lakers fans to come across the hallway and join Lebron and company in the offseason.

its not posturing.... they supposedly asked phi for saric, fultz, covington, 2 1st (one being mia 21 unprotected 1st)...so theyre consistent

I never said they were posturing. I'm calling them out on being unwilling to negotiate.

Kawhiaaaat is going on!? Please let this madness end and give in Mr. Buford! No Deng no deal simple as that. I would only give Ingram if they take Deng, hence BI, Zu and 2 first round picks with Deng

i'd shut down communication at this point. we're good. we've got lebron. you've got a very unhappy star and a crumbling organization.

    i'll wait...

eh, they'll take saric/covington/miami 1st and the hopes we get paul george'd again. which is obviously totally possible.

but getting lebron on a long-term deal means not having to be desperate. if kawhi can't be patient, someone else will take his place, one way or another.

we're the team that the next chris paul style opt-in and trade is headed.

I agree. We’re not winning a championship next season, no reason to do a New York/Carmelo style trade and gut what can be a very, very good supporting cast. Wait a year and we’ll have our second big free agent signing in as many years.

or a trade that doesn't require "godfathering". i'd let SA know that they should check with us before making a move (as we might be willing to top it), but we're not going to set his price anymore.

Spurs aren't trading s*** to the Lakers. I would guess they would rather get nothing for him the trade him to LA.

I would trade for Kawhi this summer just so that he doesnt depise us and sign with the Clippers. There is just so many unknowns about Kawhi Leonard as a person and what he desires.

However, I would only trade Ingram + Deng + Picks + Hart or Zubac + maybe (the swaps that they prosposed)
This also let us have enough space for another max next summer for Klay,Butler, or KD.

Spurs should be lucky to even get Ingram at this point
