    The last I saw they had just entered into discussions on buyout. I would think a trade could still happen until that becomes official.

    We have 27m in expiring between between KCP, Rondo, Stephenson and McGee. If we could add Dwights 24m we would be sitting pretty for next offseason.

    I'd go Paulina on this and flop .... if taking Dwight back got us out from under Deng this year. A lot of strong minds in the Lakers organization including the new players on the roster and LBJ himself could keep Howard to playing his role on a winning team with a chance to redeem himself. Magic and Rob and Luke >>>>>>> Dwight's mind. I bet Luke would love to have him. Go vertacle Baby. Or he gets Deng situation and doesn't dress for games until he gets it. Lotta redemption motivation this year from a lot of our players for many different reasons.

    I don't know if Ireland meant it as a leak or not, but he said the Lakers aren't bringing Lopez back just now on ESPN710.

    He said Brook doesnt fit the profile of athletes that the Lakers want.

    Probably more a guess than Ireland knowing anything, but seemed like an educated guess.

    sure but he also said he definitely wants to compete for a title (all those year with the Nets, I don't blame him). How many teams 1) have money he's looking for and 2) Are title contenders.

    If HOU by some miracle misses out on Capela I think HOU makes a ton of sense for Brook. But Capela will find a way to stay there. Who else?

    keep suggesting dedmon but nobody has input lol...maybe hes not enough of a a-hole? but he does shoot nearly 36% from 3s, avg 7reb n is an expiring 6mill (which is what ive read as how much cap we have left)

    I must have missed the post. He wasn’t on my radar because he isn’t a free agent, and I don’t know what we’d trade for him. If they’d take Deng, sure. :D
