This tells me no Leonard trade. We needed Jules potential salary. My guess is Cousins to a one year deal. I doubt Capela though. Wouldn't that eat into next year's cap space?

I was hoping to watch him take the next step, so this is kind of disappointing. However, we knew major changes were coming.

Not thrilled about this. We'll see what the plan is but I thought Randle made a ton of sense at least on a 1 year deal.

Why would we just renounce him for no reason??? He had value even if he just accepted the qualifying offer. We could have traded him!!

Bye Jules and Foolisha...I f***ing hate this dude more than Bynum's agent

Lakers opened up 14.8 and if they stretch Deng thats 25.4m in cap we open up.

There has to be something more coming than just the Rondo deal. Releasing Randle for nothing in return makes zero sense.

I understand that but surely we could've gotten something in return?

Yea not sure about this one.

I really liked Randle. Rondo is a gamer but we need shooters.

As an RFA he would have to agree to any deal and if he was sufficiently unhappy he may have refused to take a sign and trade.

The only way I like this move is if we’re trading ball for Leonard.

Apparently not if Randle wanted out, he’d have to help us facilitate a deal.
