As is, LA is sitting at about 107 in team payroll (counting the exceptions)...and that is with Jules @12m (his caphold). So let's say we give him a 1yr max deal (25.4m), LA is still at about 120m in team salary and would be about 4m away from avoiding to pay taxes (luxury tax threshold is at just under 124m). If Jules gets a long-term deal, he's getting traded.. that's pretty obvious at this point.
wasnt screaming A the one who started n championed the "pg hellbent on goimg to lal"? i want to see that troll excuse himself from that 1
no its not...you give him a salary thats in line with a kl signing n a deng stretch (worse case scenario) and thats certainly possible at a 10-13 ish per yr deal, might want to either back load it or have it dipp in a weird way next season but spikes back up the following yrs
I was thinking the same cause Mitch drafted him after all. The only thing I don't like about Kemba is that his caphold next summer prevents a Kawhi max slot. Next summer let's assume Jules takes a 10m per deal: Bron (37.4) Deng (18.8) Jules (10) Zo (8.7) BI (7.3) Kuz (2) Hart (1.9) Moe (1.9) = 88m (cap is projected to be at 109m...however some say it's 108m, but lets choose the more favorable number...so that's 21m in cap space.) Stretch Deng and that's 6.3m on the books so we open up 33.5m in cap space. Kawhi's max is 32.7m, so we have it. But you're assuming Jules will take 10m per at the very most...don't hold your breath.
Ya'll too slow! Come on down Boogie I guess. Ramona just now said she got word he didnt want to be here, but I've got to think Mintz has a lot to do with this.
This has to mean something right? Now can’t we stretch Deng and have enough cap to absorb Kawhi in a straight up trade for Ingram for example? Otherwise I’d be dumbfounded if we let Randle walk for nothing without seeing what kind of offer we could possibly match.
