Here, like I said, we don’t need to give up anything. Spurs either take our scraps, or he walks here anyways.

Yeah, both can be true. I can't disagree with your opinion that we shouldn't trade anyone valuable for a guy who seems hell-bent on coming here in a year. Let's just not kid ourselves that the Spurs will lower their asking price on that basis alone.

As they shouldn’t, if we were in their position, we would posture too.

No team is going to give them anything of value for a rental knowing he’ll bolt. Sixers reportedly offered Saric and Covington, that’s laugable compared to a Randle+Hart+Zu+1st package.

I know that the spurs have no leverage but would you guys be scared if jerry West decides to go hard on Kawhi? IIRC, Kawhi wants to go ton LA, so clippers is still a viable for him as an option. Unless, I missed info about him only want to be a Lakers after Lebron came

So...Randle, Ingram, Hart and a pick for Kawhi?

Agreed, I think something has to be in the works. Not sure how Hart fits in with Lance and KCP on board.

Stop with including BI...unless you want to get...

It's too gruesome to detail...let's just say, give me a reason to start craving a glass of orange juice.

IF we HAD to include BI, I’m thinking BI+Deng+Hart+Zu+1st. Kuz is already off the table.

That’s a hell of a haul for them if so.

Replace Ingram with Zubac. A lot better than Philly's offer. My hope anyway. Keep both BI and Kuz. Our depth would be insane. BI and Leonard a little redundant but what a stunning redundancy going forward.

You have to make that deal if that's what it takes. If Kawhi and Lebron are healthy and kuz and ball improve with the depth they are getting. Lakers have a legit shot at winning it all.

Don't be surprised if there's a third team involved. That might keep what the Lakers give up a little lower.

I can't imagine keeping BI and Kuzma and getting LeBron. Hart may or may not go, but I believe one of Bi or Kuz goes, almost certainly BI.

Randle and Ingram is too much. It’s bad enough using Hart as a throw-in too, he’s better than that. Zu is a throw-in. It would be Ingram OR Randle, and again, Hart wouldn’t be included until my final offer.

For fun, let's say we pull off a trade where we send out Randle and Zu and picks.

    Lonzo/
    Kawhi/Hart
    Ingram/Pope
    LeBron/Kuzma
    McGee/Wagner

    Something like that? :D
