Bring back Lopez and Julius on his QO next? Essentially have the same squad as last year, plus a year of development, plus the greatest player in the world? That’s not a bad summer at all...
I think he'll be more controlled with Bron around, and he won't be as franctic as last season being a part time jail bird
KCP was great after the jail stuff was over. If we happen to lose some players in a Kawhi trade this is good backup. KCP did shoot a career high in 3pt% last year.
Early bird rights and I think it could be a contingency...but Kawhi is definitely the end game here. I can see expiring KCP, resigned Jules and future picks plus Moe at the deadline....sucks that we have to wait for it tho.
If we’re talking starters, nobody except like Avery Bradley. I have to really wonder what our day one roster will look like now. Can Lonzo, KCP, Ingram, and LeBron all start? How does that change what we do with Randle? Hart, Kuz, Mo and vet signings off the bench? This will get interesting.
Someone has been saying/tweeting that LeBron would look at our team and think not entirely what it is right now, but what it could be come March. Can’t remember if it was Windhorst, Sheridan, or someone else. But I think they were saying what you’re saying, you’re on the right track here.
He's lucky to have made it out of the Big House with all his pieces intact. Yeah and I'm with you when that fear for his life every night after the games was gone he was a much better player. I really liked him a lot at times and thought he was our whipping boy a little too often. Should have a really good year. And maybe he's here because Hart is going out for a Leonard package. Hope it's KCP instead.
We got Lebron, I'm just going to sit back and watch this unfold. Free agents are going to be flooding here to play now, a lot of moves to be made still. We have a lot of options right now.
Oh for sure, I’m not complaining at all, my gIf was just a joke. I’m very much looking forward to seeing how this roster is filled out now, which vets flock here immediately to play with LeBron in LA, because it WILL be Showtime again. And KCP was maddening at the ends of games last season, but that was because we made him our designated last shot taker, but that changes with LeBron here, he turns into just another option of many.
We could have done a lot worse than KCP guard wise for the team. Guess he was a package deal with Lebron? A thank you for being our connection to Klutch?
