What I’ve learned from this is that if you trade for a star player with 1 yr left on their contract that intends to leave and go elsewhere, but given a year of prime treatment by fans and the franchise, they can still end up making decisions with their heart.

At the end of the day, we all want a home, to be valued, and to have a family around us that loves us. He found that.

I’m happy for PG, but I suddenly also feel like other franchises will feel emboldened by what the Thunder just pulled off.

Kawhi “thinks” he wants to go home to LA, but given the right circumstances, he can be convinced to go elsewhere. The reality is that there is a different pace to life outside of the big city, and there are pros and cons to every scenario. He’s been a big fish in a little pond like PG his whole career.

We don’t want to give up too much in a trade, but the door is wide open for him to get snatched up by another franchise that convinces him to stay.

Don’t get your hopes up. Good thing there are 5000 plan B’s

It's nice "line" to say...makes them sound sincere... In the end? Money and a perceived better situation. Can't blame them otherwise.

I love you mom, but I love Russ more. I’ll pay for hospice and visit you when I can.

    Love,

This whole free agency fiasco has taught me that if you got good young talent, you might be better served to be patient, cultivate it, and let it grow. Even if we don’t sign anyone, the kids showed me enough promise this past season to wait a little while longer. Like Rob said, it’s about sustainable success. The titles are gonna eventually come with or without Lebron.

If we signed great complimentary vets, we’re in great shape. We definitely DON’T need Lebron to have success moving forward.

The transformation has been 100% completed ... The Lakers ( and their fans) have become the Minnesota Timberwolves

Yep. That means Saric, Covington, and that Miami pick probably. A deal we could top if we had to.

I think we could top any offer; I prefer not too, though

There is no way. If Lebron says he will come if they get Kawhi, they really wouldnt do it? Maybe they know Lebron isnt coming.

Of course I prefer not to as well, but if it comes down to us beating that offer with something like Randle, Ingram, 1st, I'll do it if it means getting LeBron to come too.

Yes...San Antonio is either being hesitant or don't really want to deal with us.

Starting to read a lot like the other guy's scenario last summer. "I want Lakers, or else." turned into "But I'm also okay with _____." and then he was traded there.
