    FYI: while I am unsure of what PG is going to do, Stein/Spesrs reported that Durant were the heavy favorites to re-sign Durant.

    I heard him say the same thing on either SportsCenter or some other ESPN show, might even have been PTI. He basically said he doesn’t think LeBron needs to have another player in place to go to LA. That it isn’t about what we would have right NOW, but the front office’s willingness to make the team better along the way. I’m going off memory here so it’s not even close to word for word, but he said something like LeBron not being worried because with the assets/young players we have the Lakers could easily get on the phone and bring in someone wants, that LeBron could get on the phone with anyone and see if they wanted to play in LA too. Ramona said something along the same lines on ATH today, that LeBron has literally everyone associated with the NBA’s number (and she held up her own cell and said as much as I have in here LeBron has them ALL).

    1.We don't need Kawhi to land lebron.
    2. Kawhi has publicly scared off other bidders assuring them he won't resign with them.
    3. You can't wait him out or change his mind. He won't step foot in your locker room again.

    WTF are you demanding in a trade? Rob has a reputation as a killer. Take what you can get.

    Spurs see it as trading both LeBron and Kawhi to the Lakers? f*** you spurs. You have nothing to do with LeBron coming here. Keep damaging your image b****es.

    Lakers have the right position, we are trading for a distressed asset. I would barely offer them s***. In fact, I would decrease the offer the more they wait because if they don’t give him up now, it will be really bad in February.

    I reiterate, don’t negotiate from desparation. The way I see it, we are doing fine and if anything, PG will be the one that didn’t work out the way it was expected this off season.

    This is deeper and we just are scratching the surface of all the details, and I'm positive they are working on a story right now of LeBron and his journey to the purple and gold.

    I'm sure LeBron, Magic, and Rob, have been communicating through back channels since last summer; of course it can't be directly with LeBron.

    It was a subliminal message; and you can see the bread crumbs being planted all year long; and they will become more evident until he officially signs and details start to emerge about how this all came about.

    I'm almost positive the Lakers are communicating with him presently through those back channels; and coming at him with every offer they are getting for Leonard; what PG is doing, what players he wants to keep, construction and vision of the roster, etc.

    For better or worse, you can't deny his talent; he's a basketball prodigy, and I'm extremely excited he's going to be wearing the Purple and Gold; and although some of you will vomit at that very thougt; LeBron will do some very positive things such as: making the Lakers competitive, be a place where FA's want to go again and be a Laker, and we'll become relevant once again; it's going to be special.

    This is going to be a fun ride.

    Lakers are back, NBA. Let's get it!!

    So close to the finish line...just get this done.

    Also, Spurs have to be operating under the same assumption. I honestly feel Kawhi gets traded sooner than later.
