The only way Paul George is not a Laker on July 1, is if they say they don't want him. That's it. I also think there isnt a chance in hell Pop trades Kawhi to the Lakers. He will find some dip**** team to risk trading for Kawhi and that will be the end of it. Get Paul and Lebron and go forward. Stop wasting time. PG and Lebron with the young guys improving is good enough to win it all if a few things go well.
LOL Ox you crack me up! Not sure what a dillhole is but it made me laugh! I actually know a Dong... he’s Chinese!
Was listening to Sirius NBA on the way home and they had a reporter from Oklahoma on. I forget his name, and I’m paraphrasing here, but his perspective was interesting. I haven’t seen part 2 of the documentary yet, but few like the concensus I’ve read is that it seems to be pro OKC. This reporter felt the opposite and thought it had a strong focus on George’s legitimate LA ties. He later reiterated how George really feels strongly about his roots and cares a lot about pleasing people. He said that despite all the reports starting to hint in OKC’s favor, it doesn’t matter until George can sit face-to-face with Magic and say no.
Question: Will Paul George even entertain the idea of a face to face meeting with Magic and Rob when free agency begins? Or is he too cool like LeBron to do that kind of s***...? Because i personally believe the moment Magic and Rob talk to him, it's over he's ours. But if no face to face then we lost him... IDK just curious
I believe he has to at least give Magic and Rob a chance to speak to him. That’s what the moratorium period is for. It would be wise for his agent to give them that opportunity as well for future free agents. You take care of us, we’ll take care of you.
When PG said (paraphrasing here) " when i was a kid all i imagined was putting on a Lakers jersey, not a pacers one, and eventually i can do that, but winning is what it comes down to and I can see myself winning with Russ". He's not coming unless magic works his..........Well... magic.
Better to avoid these kind of things. It's like being in a pitch dark room after watching a horror movie. Your mind starts to say stuff that actually doesnt happen but you think there is.
It's time to get out of this 5 year hell hole. Winning is all that matters. Let's get these guys and start winning games and going to NBA Finals.
He can stay the F away from the Lakers if he doesn't come this off-season. That would be proof enough that he doesn't have the "balls" required to lead us to a championship.
Its weird though that Sam Presti is in the documentary...like why would he do that if he was supposed to become a Laker? I personally do not believe that the decision isn't final for weeks now. I'm sure he has made a decision and I also do not believe that the Lakers and Thunder aren't made aware. I'm 100% sure that Mintz would have told the Lakers beforehand once the decision was final. I refuse to believe that the decision is "secret" at this point. Agents are interested in keeping good relationships with front offices and I highly doubt they want to piss them off by jumping back and forth and just saying something on July 1st...they have other clients and need to stay good with the front offices. So while I personally believe he will stay with OKC right now...the way Magic handled his press conference lets me believe that he has an ace coming up his sleeve, whatever that is.
Our welcome video/prep better not look polished because I could be sure as well if PG is Laker-bound, we'll have no clue whatsoever even if Magic has been informed in advance. Sent from my E6533 using Tapatalk
Sheridan, the same guy that broke Bron to the Cavs in 2014, is saying some bizarre s*** of late... Also he said this for Kawhi: And now Mr. OchoCinco is in on the insider game... I swear these sauces will be the death of me bruh hahaha... I guess we'll all soon find out who really had the scoop.
Sorry Chad but I think I'll count Miami out without more data. Riley is so far above the cap this season he should plant a "Miami was here" flag on the summit of Mt. Stupid. If he could pull that off he'd be up there with Einstein and Tesla. But as for a trade they just don't have the pieces. Just a bunch of non-desirable contracts. Also what's been reported for the 76rs (who fear Kawhi leaving) Covinton and Saric are low-mid ceiling players and a pick from them will be a high pick. Also his response from PG is more than expected. Duh. "We haven't released our 3rd episode yet, so obviously we haven't made a decision yet because none of this is scripted" Something to think on: My Journey smells a lot like The Decision where LBJ burned Cleveland. But If PG decides on OKC with this big media production, essentially burning LA considering all his hints and past outright declarations that he will come to LA, he will face disgrace but not from Cleveland and their limited media. Oh no, he will face the world's media capital in Los Angeles and it will be blown up Tzar Bomba style. Likewise, the opposite effect would happen should he choose LA. With LBJ? x 10. It would be massive. Universal City Walk will put up 75 ft high LBJ and PG figures (like they did with Gretsky and Shaq). Buildings in Hollywood and downtown will put up full-side graphics. It will be a media blitz like we haven't scene. LBK and PG know that. They have to. Egos will be sufficiently stroked. Someone in PJ's organization, Mintz or whoever advises him on PR must have thought this out.
