It's time for LeBronze to take a paycut. He should be tired of tainting his legacy by having his arse whooped annually in the finals by the Warriors.

    Thats what Durant did too.

SAS is saying Kawhi just wants to have fun and the culture in SA is too serious and professional. If that’s all true, My take from that is that he just wants to be back in Los Angeles and doesn’t care about anything else.

I wasn’t thrilled hearing that. You’d seriously go to the Clippers? You want to have fun? I’m not sure I buy he sat out an entire season because he wasn’t having fun, but if that’s a large part of it I have concerns. We don’t need to trade away a bunch of the core for a guy with a potentially lingering injury AND a Dwight Howard mentality. Fun? Seriously, wtf?

I don't take it in a Howard "have fun" context. I think it's a passive aggressive shot at Pop. Stubborn, old school vs a guy like Kerr or Luke. IDK what the clippers have to do with this though. Doc's not that.

Kawhi is a Finals MVP and a champion. I don't have any concerns that he's not serious enough about his craft. Hell I watched that kid in college and wasn't even sure he was a pro, this guy has that driven mentality.

I think two things are true here: 1) SAS is a moron who shouldn't be taken seriously about literally anything and 2) there's a good chance Pop's and San Antonio's vibe is wearing thin on players around the league. If guys can win and be outgoing, why does everyone have to toe the company line in San Antonio?

The type of "fun" he's referring too (if we that that's true) is the kind that Golden State has played with for the last 5 years. They play with joy, smiles on their faces, playing the right way; in practices, the music is loud, their loose, etc.

That's what I would take it as; and by the way, we Luke offers that type of environment here...

    :D

I mean I watched him live which is rare for me. He looked amazing defensively, but his offense was so timid. I thought "well he might play NBA defense, but can he stick in the league if he refuses to be aggressive offensively?"

BI will have a better season than Kawhi, just watch. Im also fairly sure, that he can be a beast on defense. We didn't trade young Kobe, let's stick with BI.

Yep. This is what I wanted to hear. All this talk about how amazing jaylen brown is...we all know the Spurs value and probably rate Ingram higher than Brown. Nice try though, media. Trying to push this narrative that jaylen brown is wayyy better than ingram

Bro...BI can only HOPE to be as good as Kawhi Leonard one day. I think his ceiling is superstar but a top 2-3 player in the game? I don't think that he has that. Kawhi is also only 26....he's got 5-7 more years of superstar basketball left in him. For context, LeBron is 33...and still the best player in the game.

Cool. So, it started from "pound salt," to "let's have a dialogue," to "now we're starting to discuss players," next will be a "frame-work" (If we get that far), etc.

    We're getting there.
