I would like to hope Magic and Rob continue to rate Ingram highly and keep him out of any trade to San Antonio. Take S&T Jules, Kuz and a 1st.

Man I hate the idea of losing Kuz. Such a gamer, wanted to take clutch shots, has so many moves, could catch absolute fire, has that mamba mentality. Don’t want to lose Hart either.

I completely understand. Losing Ingram would be rough, but I think Kuzma gets the other side of the NBA more and the Lakers covet that almost as much as the court.

Ironic, cause Kawhi doesn't seem to be about that other side (his handlers might be tho) yet LA is "aggressively" targeting him. Maybe Kawhi and BI could be bffs cause their personalities seem to be similar.

I thought it was crazy suspicious of our FO to barely mention BI yesterday but kept clamoring about Kuz. It could be them understanding that BI is possibly out in a trade, or it could be them trying to increase the trade value of Kuz...either way, I hope something gets done and this doesn't drag out the entire summer.

I'm confident if this trade happens, we will come out fine. Never doubted it.

We all now know why the FO kept stating that this was a 2 summer plan. That's a direct message to Kawhi that we will have cap next summer to take you in. It's a direct message to the rest of the league that don't waste your time dealing for Kawhi and losing valuable assets. It's also a direct message to the Spurs that stop keeping him hostage in hopes for a better deal that won't come.

    Magic's the man!

    Pressures on them, not him...

I just see BI as being Kawhi within 2yrs under Pop. So I don’t see the need to give up 3 youngsters. They better leverage the uncertainty of Kahwi’s injury.

I like Ingram more but Kuzma is the one we need to keep if we're getting both Kawhi and George.

That tweet from Ramona came almost an hour ago. Usually the piece that follows a tweet like that is about 20-30 minutes later.

    Could things be moving rapidly?

As much as I love Ingram and Kuzma, I'd get rid of one of them easily if it meant we were getting Lebron and Kawhi. Those two are legit top 5 players.

    I'm back. LOL.

I'd rather have Kawhi than PG - but I'll take both.

The goal here for the Lakers FO is simple: they want James, Leonard, and PG.

    Let's see if that happens.

If we get those three, is Randle gone? Or could we still potentially keep him?

If a frickin trade has to happen where SA is getting back some damn good emerging talent that they can use, then limit it to Randle and Zubac so they have a real center again. I could live with Randle more than BI. Randle I guess, but I still hate it, more than losing Kuzma. Zo shouldn't leave. Plus round it out with picks in our 1st rounds a couple times next 3 years. Ring chasers will make up for, and more cheaply than players late in the first round. Julius is going to be amazing. Zubac got religion I think and is looking again like a young Marc Gasol hopefully. And that's it.

That's a nice return if you consider Julius's uniqueness in the league and desire to be a star and a skilled, true big man who is just young but will be a solid center. Throw Moe in too if you absolutely have to give them more. He's a real nice draft pick of the type SA likes themselves. That's a better haul than anyone else can afford to gamble Leonard stays with them and put up. And Randle gets his around 20M big contract.

There's a chance. I hope they can get to it. I'm expecting two of them at this point. :D

Keeping him would probably require losing both Lonzo and Ingram and Julius taking the qualifying offer. It would be very, very tough.
