During all questions being asked yesterday, Magic stated something along the lines of not being desperate, and not doing something stupid, not making a move just to say he “did something”, that they’d be more careful than that and patient. He said they know which guys can help them and which can’t. I can’t find the video, but it was pretty much stating he wouldn’t do what you just said, and that there won’t be any more MozDengs.

    Edit: found the quotes

I fully expect Westbrook to buy the UHD HDR version of that program when it releases in Best Buy. If there are Best Buys on the Prairie? Amazon wherever. Will be tax on it by then wherever you live. Thanks deciding supreme court justice. Ma and Pa and bricks and mortar .... Yay. Me now paying sales tax everywhere for on line purchases ....... Boooooo!!!

You know OKC is the 2nd largest city in the US, right? 600,000 people. Airport. Amazon distribution center. Very large Air Force base. If only we had a Best Buy. LOL

The Spurs lost leverage as soon as draft day ended, I don’t know what this leverage nonsense is either. On draft day the Clippers could offer #12 and #13, now I don’t even remember who they drafted, but it’s actual players and those don’t have as much value as potential players. The Lakers can wait til the trade deadline to trade for Kawhi, there is no deadline here, Woj is pulling that out of his a**, aka the Spurs’ mouth.

Exactly. I have no idea why they waited. They could have had two lottery picks or at least one lottery pick and a decent player.

If they think they're going to "win" the trade at this point, they're fools. Teams in their position don't ever "win" these situations. Take the best deal you can and move on.

2nd largest city? That can't be right can it? Are other big cities broken up into many other smaller cities or something?

Land-wise, it's the 2nd largest. Jacksonville is the largest.

Sure, you can say LA is the largest if you count Anaheim, Brentwood, etc etc. But city to city, it's the 2nd largest.

Ok, but not population. I was thinking people, so that threw me off. Heck, a "city" in Alaska could be geographically HUGE, but it wouldn't be relevant. Theoretically.

But Oklahomans have to hang their hat on something, right?

Just for curiosity sake, I looked up the largest cities in the Philippines since I was there last year and we have site members that live there.

    1 Manila 12,877,253
    2 Cebu 2,849,213
    3 Davao 2,516,216
    4 Cagayan de Oro 1,376,343
    5 Angeles 1,132,933
    6 Iloilo City-Guimaras 946,146
    7 Naga 799,955
    8 Bacolod 791,019
    9 Baguio-LISTT 611,316
    10 Batangas City 550,725

I've been to Cebu, Davao, and Bacolod, and I'm shocked to see Davao and Cebu in the range of Chicago, and Manilla more populated than NYC. Wow! I do think the land area and distribution of people is over greater square miles/km though, as NYC and Chicago have their share of high rises. Completely different feel to the cities as well.

So in other words a lot of empty grassland prairie acres and cows and no need for Best Buys?

I mean “land area” doesn’t mean much when there’s isn’t s*** there. Arizona has a lot of land area, but it sure all looks the same when you’re driving through it, and I wouldn’t go live there until I was old, wanted to get a cheap house, and didn’t care about ever going outside again.

Being desperate to land a big name might make them pull the trigger on a trade they otherwise would have not done a couple weeks ago. OR its all smoke and nothing has changed at all.
