Oh you don’t have to tell me. When have we ever even dealt with the Spurs in a trade? I honestly don’t see it, even though we could give them a great package of players and picks today. I think teams would rather take less to spite us, I really do. I could see them demanding Zo, Ingram, Kuz, Hart, #25 AND future firsts. Nobody wants to see us good again. That’s a huge part of the reason I’m ok with LeBron coming here despite my hate for him, because it would be a huge F you to the league and they’d have to talk about us again. That’s why I’m incredibly content still if “ all”we get is PG. and if we got LeBron and PG, kept all the kids, that’s a grand slam, because nobody helped us, we got there with Magic and Rob and our scouts doing work.

This is all contingent on PG. If he leaves OKC, then other terms will look at this Kawhi situation and won't risk a hefty package. Spurs lose leverage.

If Kawhi wants home and a bigger market, it comes down to the Lakers and cLips. Spurs lose leverage.

If Kawhi wants to get paid this coming year and not wait till '19, then only the Lakers can provide that to him. cLips and Spurs lose leverage.

If Kawhi wants to choose who he wants to play with with the current FA crop, then only the Lakers can provide that. cLips and Spurs once again lose leverage.

Not sure if you guys caught that on the earlier pages.

Woj doesn’t realize that it will take much more than Jaylen Brown... give me a freaking break.

And when did Ainge get the reputation as a savvy GM? I remember just recently that he was on the hot seat. Dude is a moron.

    Kyrie and Jaylen for Kawhi
Ainge clears room for Lebron to sign. C Bags win next 5 titles.

After the initial excitement, it's going to take a lot of work to get all 3 here.

No one wants to help us out so trades will always be tricky. A lot of it boils down to Kawhi forcing his way here, none of this "I'd like LA, but.....". I'm comfortable with s&t Randle, BI (I love the guy), picks and maybe Hart(?).

That still leaves the giant elephant in the room in Deng we still need to move him if we want room for PG and Lebron, and all that point the price tag for him will be even bigger.

This is absolutely PG 2.0 and I just hope it ends up with us laughing at the rest of league while they cower in fear.

EDIT: And despite all the s*** we give the Clips, I think they are a viable option. It gives Kawhi the big market he wants but less of a spotlight fitting his personality.

I'm so sick and tired of the media bias...I badly want us to get LeBron, Kawhi AND PG13 and say EFF YOU to the rest of the league once and for all!!!

Kawhi controls everything though...and yes, if PG13 spurns OKC for us....even more reason for teams to be hesitant to part with assets.

As much as I'd love to dismiss Ainge's supposed acumen for being such a "genius GM", that draft day deal for Tatum looks pretty damn smart right about now.

He gets no credit from me for fleecing Billy King so badly, though. Everyone did. He was just the most recent.

He'll give up anybody short of Kyrie and Tatum to get the deal done. Kawhi is that damn good...

The Tatum pick was genius. Because right now; and yes I know it's early, Tatum>Zo. And I know the Spurs probably drool over Tatum; they'd love him.

One thing that might play in our hands is that Kawhi sat out basically the year and that even in an organization like the Spurs. I think even the C Bags might be hesitant seeing that. Especially if Kawhi is hellbent on LA. Who knows what he could do next year?

One question. Are we able to S&T Randle?

It has George written all over it, doesn't it? Close but no cigar.
