I personally think it's going to take a min of Kuz, s&t Jules and a ton of picks to possibly take on Deng or for a 3rd team to take on Deng.

Difference between the cLips and Lakers (other than the obvious) is who has cap again?

You want a big market like LA while getting paid...Kawhi, you know what it is!

f*** off Clippers. Jerry West being there scares me a little.

It would cost us at least 1 of those 4, sadly. If healthy Leonard is a top 3 NBA player, and the Spurs FO is one of the best around. It would hurt, but I would part with Zo or BI (my favorite Laker) to get a true franchise player in here. Mostly because Leonard and BI play the same position.

So far it's the Lakers and Clippers? S*** the Clippers have the better offer then.

    #13/#14/Rivers or Harris

Doesn’t mean s*** until the deal gets done. Make the trade and then I’ll pop the bubbly. Right now, not getting drawn into PG part 2.

And Kawhi says he won't resign and that offer becomes 10 ounces of Doc Rivers face sweat.

    I hope so. :D

But that gets a little complicated. If we don't get him, we have to keep open enough cash to nab him in FA next summer don't we? Could get a little tricky in salary.

I think Julius is definitely gone in a sign & trade if Kawhi is coming over here. The question would be who are we packaging JR with - Ball, Kuz, or Ingram + a pick.

Oh, dude. If we only have to lose one of Ingram, Kuz or Zo, and then RANDLE seals the deal, ship his a** out. I know we all love what Randle brings, but that man has a ceiling with a capital "C." Done.

Okay so let's say it costs us two players of the young core.

Who do you guys give up?

Lonzo, Kuzma, Ingram, and Hart. (assuming Randle is part of the package)

What I like about most this thread, even if nothing comes of it and Kawhi is never a Laker, is that it’s not about LeBron.

What if it cost you Ingram/Randle/Hart?

    Plus.....

cLips can't renogiate an extension to pay Kawhi 30M next season cause they don't have cap space...meanwhile, we can and also give him a running mate in Bron.

As other big markets, NY/BK can also get in on the fun but don't have the cap space. Philly does but would definitely have to give up some of their youth (does SA agree to a deal without Simmons or Joel?) Chicago has cap but nothing much else to get Kawhi a star running mate. Miami is capped out.

So out of all his demands: big market, coming home, getting paid, choosing a star running mate.

Only the Lakers can provide all of that.

I would package Kuz, Hart, Randle + a pick for Kawhi. But San Antonio will ask for Ingram instead of Kuz. Man I love Ingram, and I think that boy has all the tools to be a superstar in this league.
