Oh god, it’s finally over. That anti-jinx was getting exhausting. I had to keep that s*** up for 3 rounds. I knew somehow CP3 was gonna get injured, Harden was gonna come up small, and the Warriors could pull this off, but I couldn’t speak it out loud until the final buzzer sounded. So tired of hating on Durant, but I had to spew all that stuff until this Rockets team was downed. Now I don’t give a crap who wins the Finals, as long as it’s not Houston. F*** Chris Paul, f*** James Harden, and F*** Mike ‘Antoni, self-depricating, league-ruining piece of s***.
Harden just walk off at the end there? Warriors show championship prowess. Rockets crapped the bed, though. Horrendous shooting. Feel like both Rockets and C-bags choked, and nothing makes me happier.
Damn, this is a relief, I can finally relax, the basketball universe has been restored to order. The Warriors look vulnerable, LeBron’s team is crap, if we can hit a grand slam this offseason I don’t think Lakers vs C Bags the next generation is too far away.
If Bron can beat the Warriors, he's the top 3 player ever. But he can't. He's playing incredible ball, but I just can't see it.
To be honest with the way GS is playing, it's totally possible LeBron can make a series of it. I dont see it happening, but it could. Someone find @abeer3 and buy him a drink.
D'Antoni's Donut Offense did not come through tonight. Harden...32 points on 29 shots. 29 shots! Miller (?) commented that when it counts he did not have a "legacy" game. Houston's toughness, ability to make shots off the dribble and guts was sitting on the bench with hammy injury.
Speaking of Lakers vs Kings - sure, we won, they outplayed us, but here is the difference: Kings were a very, very talented team and played beautiful, unselfish basketball. This Houston team can't compare, especially without CP3. It's a wonder they pushed the Warriors like this, and they managed to do it because GSW are playing badly, considering how much talent they have. They always get behind, get hot in the 3rd and the history repeats itself.
I probably spelled it wrong, but former Laker on the Rockets. edit ***Looked it up*** Yep, Tarik. Well thank you kind sir. I'm sorry you weren't sure who I meant. My bad. I'll do better.
He’s a kindred spirit, a career of tragedy like CP3 who always gets injured, Harden who always comes up small in the biggest stages, and ‘Antoni who always loses right on the doorstep. Webber, as a former Queen, knows their pain well. That’s one big reason I referenced Lakers/Kings 2002 earlier, they were a team built to beat us, but they just couldn’t do it no matter what.
