Let's just hope the ripple effect is as apparent against the good teams or Kobe will stop attending the games on the bench ;)

I wonder if MJ ever did this for his teamates? Granted I don't think he was ever injured for a long stretch but has anyone ever seen him bust out a clipboard in a huddle? I honestly don't know. Or did it just take the threat of getting punched in the face to get his guys to do the right things on the floor?

WHOA! Steve Nash is having his third practice/workout with Clarkson. How great of him to take time out of his busy schedule to work with one of his teammates 3 times in 4 weeks. I'll take what I can get out of him at this point, but if he really wanted to help the kid then he'd join Kobe on the bench.

As far as MJ goes, I know he helped some of the guys not named Kwame in Washington. He's done some with the younger guys in Charlotte. And he helps out some of the superstars like Kobe and Melo. He just ignores the ones who are pricks, like LBJ.

MJ also gave Will Perdue a good bit of hands-on instruction.

But but according to Henry Abbot, Kobe is a terrible teammate.

ok, i'll be the bad guy: why has kobe been gone so long? not as pronounced as the nash absence, but I'm not sure that asking the injured teammate to whom you're devoting a third of the salary cap to, you know, show up and support the guys is such a big stretch.

Lol, if Kobe did that he would be a brutal and petulant sociopath devoid of empathy and a soul. Jordan does it and it's like "Most people talk smack, Jordan laid the smack down."

I guess us taking Kwame Brown was some sort of humanitarian action. Kwame probably qualified as an asylum seeker or had refugee status.

Kobe has so much to teach. I would like him to do the Kenny Smith analysis big board role if he ever goes on t.v. He doesn't need to do any comedy or skit activities at all though.

He gave Clarkson so much advice Clarkson said he was confused lol

I don't think it was his fault they won one game. It was the fault of Reggie Jackson having some epic collapse.

Have you watched Detroit at all recently? They've been on a downward trend and the move to get Jackson I did not get at all. Jackson's isn't a great shooter and Van Gundy''s offense is predicated on spacing and shooting. Jackson doesn't shoot well so he can't space the floor when he gets open looks and he's been on the steep decline for weeks prior to getting traded. In short, he's horrible; Detroit sucks and it should be no surprise we beat crappy a Eastern Conference team. We'll beat Philly twice, too.

Maybe the point would have been better made with a short right cross just catching him on the point of his chin for that upward angle reaction and desired effect.

Yeah...but it's Parker and Walker. Bottom feeder status players. Jackson and his coaching staff used to call on court bonehead plays as "a Samaki" so there. 24 can point out tendencies on the floor but leaves it up to the player he is advising to figure it out. Must have learned it from someone...
