Looks for the Lakers in the playoffs this year...

Uh, I do! Cause with Bron on the free market this summer, he's a viable option for that cap we horded this year.

Options to make sure tumbleweeds aren't part of our plans next May...yeah, I definitely give a f***ing crap about that.

We're making the playoffs with just George imo.

The way he's dragging that mediocre team along in the playoffs. I don't think he wants to leave his home state. I think he truly enjoys playing in Cleveland and wants to retire there with about 5 rings under his belt.

Looks at what Okc did in the postseason...yeah I think I rather do something more than just a playoff berth. Thank gawd Mag and Rob think so too (see JC/Nance deadline deal that earned us a 2nd max slot).

Another incredible LeBron performance carrying that s***ty team. Amazing. Once he retires his career stats will support his name: King James.

I think it's the exact opposite. I think he's tired of dragging a bad team and I think he's definitely tired of Cleveland and that owner. I think he's ready for a team like the one he's playing: enough youngsters to keep him young.

Watching these playoffs play out, I can now actually see abeer’s Houston scenario playing out for LeBron. I’ve been surprised at how good Houston has been, and I could see LeBron beating the C Bags in game 7, Houston getting by GS, and Houston beating down Cleveland and LeBron going with the whole ‘if you can’t beat em, join em’ thing. And if they lost to GS in 7 because Paul is out injured, I could see LeBron saying ‘all they need is me and they’re a potential dynasty’. I realize you’ve laid out before how it would take moving the sun, moon, and stars to accomplish this, but I think a team like Houston might do that for LeBron. Cleveland might be desperate enough to cooperate in a sign-and-trade involving picks too, rather than losing LeBron for nothing for the second time and becoming instantly historically bad again.

We'll see but honestly I'm 100% convinced Houston won't do that. They're this close their first year together? I think they'll keep this team together. But we'll just have to wait and see.

His midrange shot has been very impressive this postseason .

I enjoy this Lebron with a score 1st mentality ... remind me of his 08-09 postseason , he was a monster too

Houston should let CP3 walk and add Lebron . Can they do this cap wise ( after keeping Capela) ?

He’s been capable of this his whole career, but he’s just now doing this at 33?

I think the website www.ihatelebron.com has inspired him to quit whining and flopping as much, and to try to quit being so mentally weak about closing games.

He’s still a douche and an overreactir, but he shown improvements to his game at a time most are dropping off noticeably.

Another beastly game. And look what it takes to drag that team with him - he is playing 82 games in the regular season, all games in the playoffs, 46 minutes last game and he almost got another triple double to keep the Cavs in it. I sense he might be a bit tired of doing all that. Better to team up with George and be a mentor to young guys. Take a break once in a while to take care of his body.

Joining Houston? OK, that would take some work, but it would be a new low for the league, honestly.

If he does do that then his legacy is Kevin Durant. KD gets dogged for doing what he did. I would not fault him for going to Houston but LeBron really worries about what people think and his legacy. He effectively repaired the damage from the “The Decision” but it took years and a championship for Cleveland.

He either stays in Cleveland (which I believe is the likely scenario) or he goes to a storied, proud franchise that has been down where LeBron, the hero, comes to save the day and restore the franchise to its previous glory (e.g., Lakers, Philly).

Just Harden, Anderson, Gordon and Tucker account for 71M next year. Add Nene/Onuaku's combined 5M and that is 76M in guaranteed team salary. Let's say they somehow dump Nene/Onuaku, them Clint's 7M caphold leaves roughly 23M in practical cap space, which is roughly 12M off of Bron's true max of 35.6M. Even if he decides to take a paycut, they're capped out with 7 on the roster.

Let's say they stretch Anderson, then they can open up 12M in cap and get Bron his max, but would only have 6 on the roster then, under this hypothetical.

Btw, that LA house of his is getting renovations done to it. That's alot of money for a house that considered just a summer home.

Absolutely yes. Enough is enough. This is the Lakers. We make ballsy moves, we make noise in the playoffs. This is what our franchise does. We have young, quality players already, there is no need to wait 4-5 years for them do develop without getting any superstar help.

Do something, and do it now! :Noddingyes:

Not a big fan of Daniel Bryan. Or any WWE wrestler now.
