That's the type of lineup that would make Phil Jackson want to come back and coach. Especially that Shabooyah kid. He reminds me of Toni Kukoc but more flashy.
Well, yeah, if they win the title this season and next season (or at the least next season since that is more fresh to Klay's free agency), then hard to envision them breaking up anything regardless of cost. Lacob doesn't strike me as going Micky Arison on the team.
The numbers don’t really tell the full story. George was really good in game 1 and game 5. Pretty average in game 3 and 4. And bad in game 2 and 6. I feel as a though a star should have a little consistency at least, that’s what raises them up to be stars. They bring it on the nightly. After game 1, if George showed up again in games 2, 3 or 4, OKC probably win the series. He shows up in game 5 to give some hope and then starts passing up shots like he is playing hot potato in the elimination game.
By the way since this is the unofficial playoff thread, how good was it to see Jazz take one from the Rockets?!
Is it true PG pulled out his kid from an OKC school? If his daughter enrolled in LA within the week I think we know what's gonna happen... Grandma George will be very happy to spend time with her grandkid
The (bleep) is this? Is this guy shooting this at the Bates Motel? Looks like the motel rooms they show on Crime and Investigations that always seem to have week old dead bodies discovered under the mattress.
Yep... You can either do this if Bron/PG want the max: Or you can stretch Deng, sign Bron/PG to about 5M less than their combined maxes and then match & trade Jules + picks/assets for Kawhi. Order of operation is key... Btw TF with that video.... I ain't watching sirron for 30 mins explaining how the anti-christ is coming to LA.
I would replace Kuzma with BI. Leonard cancels BI out. Kuzma is the modern day PF. He also might be T-Macish when he hits his prime. Lakers, as much as this pains me to say, may need Lebron to beat the C Bags. The C Bags are a year away from making it to the finals. And for Lebron, if he wants to get passed the Warriors, man, a team with Lonzo, PG, Leonard, himself and Kuzma would be a defensive machine that could clamp down the league, let alone the Warriors. Some of you might have heard me say, the next great coach would need to solve this 3 point crap that everyone does. A Team of: Ball George Leonard James Kuzma with Hart and some good vets off the bench, man the Lakers would have a great shot at winning titles right away.
I'm not sure Leonard cancels out BI. Just because Ingram projects to have a similar game and skill set, doesn't mean having two is a bad thing. There are some skill sets that you don't want to have a redundancy of like Westbrook and John Wall in the same backcourt. I think you can have 5 Kawhi and Ingrams on the court and make it work. Kuzma doesn't have the insane length and playmaking ability of BI. Kuzma is also a bit more of a gunner. With Kawhi, James and PG, a player who can just do all the little things like BI and not need to take a bunch of shots might actually work better. If Leonard is healthy I would trade Kuzma or BI for him in a nanosecond, but I think I prefer to keep BI if given the choice.
