Pacers absolutely blew it on the offensive end, Nance all over the place making game saving plays. Love went out with the thumb injury and they couldn’t take advantage. Still, if he’s out any length of time going back to Indiana tied 1-1 it could be trouble.

Kevin Love is weak. Clarkson not showing up. I can’t see why LeBron wants to carry these teams especially at this point in his career. He needs to go to an aggressive team that has young legs. Lakers?...

    only 5 assists?

    SMH

    :Ingramsawinglogs:

Indiana shot great overall, but poorly from 3. I doubt it happens again as they head home. If I'm Cleveland, I'm not feeling so confident.

Off topic of the game, but on topic of LeBron James, but coach Popovich‘s wife died today, and in the post-game interview Allie LaForce asks LeBron for his thoughts. WTF kind of question is that? LeBron just barely won a playoff game by 3 points, carried his team scoring 46 points of their 100, and he gets asked that. She asked about him being aggressive scoring wise, then about like thoughts for game 3, then out of nowhere, “Erin Popovich died today, thoughts on that?”. Dude is dripping sweat, can probably hardly think, and he’s supposed to give an on the spot eulogy, ends up saying “oh s***” on live tv. If I were LeBron I would not be happy right now, that is tactless, ask the guy in the podium interviews if you’re gonna ask. Who would authorize that question at that time? Horrible look IMO, LeBron was incredibly gracious with a long heartfelt answer, this is one time I will throw zero hate at the man.

To be fair, if that was Kobe we'd have rioted against Indiana.

If it were Kobe, it wouldn’t have been a flagrant, and he wouldn’t have fallen and almost his his face on the floor to sell the foul extra hard. LeBron was saved from some chipped teeth by his beard there. If it were Kobe, they might have called a damn jump ball. Sometimes I think we need a “dislike” button around here.

Can't believe that they would ask him about Pop's wife passing right after the game...LBJ did say that the reporter asked for his permission though.

He better, he is the GM.
He cannot be both an actor and a class act.

Off the court. He says the right things, he helps kids, No scandals or drama, a good husband and father. I can respect that.

How is this mofo beasting like that after 15 NBA seasons and like an annual trip to the Finals? seriously, he is a freak of nature.

I love Kobe and he is so much more fun to watch but there is no denying at this point that LeBronze is a better overall talent. He is just flat out a machine. He does all that while also continuing to shoot insane numbers from the floor.

Put Kobe in that body, and there would be no records left.

Basically, he has the physical talent that is rarely seen in any sport; not only is he able to sustain this kind of production, but he is also able to stay relatively injury free - which is absolutely unbelievable. If he can get some rest during regular season starting next year... who knows how long he's going to be able to sustain it. 3-4 more years? I could see it.

Very rarely can you look at a guy with his physical talents and results and be disappointed.

As much as he has accomplished, he was always capable of more. He just never had the killer mentality.

Killers don’t flop and whine and cheat, and it’s why this supremely talented player will never be the GOAT in so many peoples eyes.

Father time is undefeated. Kobe who had a legendary work ethic and workout regime still tore his achilles making a very basic bball move. LeBron will eventually break down. I just hope if he signs with us, it doesn't happen during his potential time here.* Cough Steve nash cough*

Shaq did not have it either... It happens quite often with players that are physically so dominant. Sure, Kobe in that body would crush every record, but Kobe did not even have Jordan's body, let alone Bron's.

But yeah, Bron will remain productive, just like Malone, and it's going to end in a similar way once he's 39-40.

I didn't say what the ref would call, just what we would say watching it. The Gameday thread would be demanding Sabonis's head and probably his dad's too for good measure.
