I've already said sincerely many times I expect him to be the first player in the history of the league to be inducted into the Hall while still an active player. What do you want from me?
I think there's something about Kuzma that definitely has a star quality about it. He has good "gravity" and by that I mean he garners attention. He's got a game that can easily light up social media, a good head on his shoulders, and is good in front of the camera. In that respect, yes I definitely agree. But in terms of what he is on the court? I don't know yet. It's entirely possible he tops out as a 6'9" version of Klay Thompson, but it's equally possible that he never quite grasps defensive rotations and ends up just a high level bench scorer. Personally, I lean towards him being a starter caliber player within 2/3 years although ideally for us, we'll have him coming off the bench (adding two max players and keeping Julius means somebody is on the bench).
Cool. Thanks. Always like reading your thought process. Was just wondering myself; and surprised that's what Magic and Pelinka saw this early in his career...
I think kuz deserves to be a starter, if we miss out on LeBron but get PG and don't keep Brook... Resign Randle... than we should have a dynamic lineup of Zo BI PG Kuz Randle That lineup has offensive juggernaut written all over it. And potential great defensive switching. What do you guys think?
I’ve been in this camp all along Sign PG fill in the roster Keep Julius I expect major growth next year and 50+ wins based on how we have played since January
Also factor in the improvement as far as individuals go for Zo, kuz and bi. Also they'll get stronger strength wise. Our team has the makings of how fast the warriors improved from within.
I wouldn't trust our paint d with kuz/randle....kuz deserves to start but his d is pretty bad n so is randle at times...id still bring back brolo on a team friendly deal n start him, just up kuz overall minutes between backing up both forward spot
I disagree Randle has been a great defensive player this year, kuz it's more of a strength issue, once him and bi gain strength they'll be better
You didnt notice the countless time randle guy gets to the basket w/o randle noticing till it was to late? Randle is good 1on1, but ive seen numerous times he gets back doored same with kuz
I think he can be very good; as you noted, defensive rotations, not being strong enough to guard the some of the bigger PF's, limits his ability to play the 4 full-time right now due to his lack of strength, but that will improve. He's better at the small-forward position right now. The biggest surprise to me has been his ability to shoot; that was a very nice surprise. It opens up the game for him and his teammates. We see him take over games with his shooting ability; his in between game (finishing with the hook shots for example), finishing in general, transition or otherwise, are very nice to see; he makes a very nice fit with Zo in that capacity. He also has some post-game that we seen in the pre-season that we haven't seen a lot of since we have Lopez and Randle on the block at various points, but it's there for Kuz; his footwork off of screens is very good, but I'd like to see him operate more out of the pick in roll because of his size and underrated passing ability that he could take advantage of; 22, but I think he's still growing. He'll develop into a starter at some point...IMO. Sorry for the late response.
Ummm ..... nice game Kyle. Bad choice last shot but understandable. Saw a Kobe Bryant pivot and then reverse direction again fall away jumper he hit out there.
