Randle kinda sound/carry himself like LO in postgame interviews .

LMAO at referencing Murray as "her" at the end ( if I heard correctly)

The Lakers, as currently structured are almost a .500 team.

Now imagine you replace KCP with Paul George and have Ingram, Ball, Kuzma, Randle continuing their improvements and IT getting healthy...there is a good chance that this current team + George is a top 5 team in the West. It is possible for LA to keep IT, Randle, Lopez and add a star to it. That would still not be enough to win it all...but that would be "one guy" away which would be great because then FAs want to come to LA.

more importantly: stars would force trades here again. that's really how the lakers work. it's part of why i want to keep deng in the event we don't get two maxes this summer. his expiring plus some goody is what NO will get for anthony davis when he tells them he'd like to be traded here.

Seeing you and KB24 being so positive about the Lakers is music to my ears. Over the years, you guys have been the most realistic about how good the Lakers are (and usually end up being right).

I definitely agree. This team plus PG13 probably leaps into the top 5...and if we get two max level players and keep Randle? We go to top 2 ahead of the Rockets and neck and neck with the Warriors.

and they started to fall in love with the 3.

they missed almost all of their shots and barely got to the paint for easy buckets. once they started moving the ball again late in the 3rd, they found their mojo.

If that’s what teams are going to/able to offer Randle, we’d be morons not to keep him. My concern is about paying him 18+ mil per. 12-15? That’s not even a question.

We’re paying KCP 18, and Deng too right? Over 20 for brolo?

12-15 mil for Julius is flat out stealing

I see Dallas as the only legitimate threat and they got 3 RFAs (McDermott, Mejri, Ferrell) plus 17M in cap holds and it could be up to 25M if you consider Noel's cap hold. They got 69M in guaranteed salary (assuming that Matthews opts in, which he should after his stress fracture and they opt to pick up Dirk's 5M) and that means they'll have only 14-17M in cap space (if they decide to let Noel walk)...possibly 20M if they creatively restructure Dirk's contract again.

Considering the windows of matching their own RFAs while also being at the mercy of LA if they decide to offer their cap space to Jules instead of Gordon, the Mavs have flexibility, but its of the restricted variety. If they play it wrong, they could not only whiff on Jules and Gordon, but on their own players as well. I guess that's why they call it restricted free agency.

Well no wonder he's in a better place now mentally ....

" If he gets agitated now, Randle said he opens a bottle of wine " Right there in the article. Quote - unquote

ITs shooting and penetration really opens up Randle’s paint game.
