Wow that was awful all around. At first it looked like leBron had Hardens arm, but then as he was flailing it looks clear to me that Harden was grabbing LeBron's arm to try and get the call. The worst part is the ref just standing there, because yeah, if it isn't a foul, it's a travel. Both floppers, both players I can't stand, ugh. Another awful call earlier in the 4th was Harden driving to the hoop, jumping into Thompson or someone, sticking his off arm out and elbowing him in the face, and HARDEN getting the and 1 on that play. Whoever the defender was just stood there, Harden jumped and turned his body into him to get the contact. It's either a no-call or offensive foul.
I heard that's actually a new type of foul implemented by the league. A Harden foul. The rule is, if anyone comes into contact with anything Harden is touching, they're called for a foul. Of course, this means that anyone touching the ground or air could be called for the new foul. Harden gets so many no calls it's ridiculous though.
Harden got suspended for his little kicking stunt. In my opinion Harden's whole game is suspension worthy. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-b...-kicking-lebron-james-in-groin-235901796.html
The ref had no idea what to do considering how much the league favors both players in regards to how they're officiated. It was like a floppers/travelers stalemate. The ref is thinking, will I get fined for favoring Harden's BS over Lebron's BS or the other way around? What a conundrum for an NBA official.
So the twitter feed on the site is reporting that Harden got a 1 game suspension for kicking the king
^ beg to differ. nobody is loved more than harden. i think it's on par with wade a few years ago. never seen anything like those two in my basketball watching days. this includes prime jordan, kobe, and lebron.
Rockets fans mad because their flopper hero didn't get a call in their favor. http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2015/3/...after-james-harden-no-call-enrages-announcers
Always loved Westbrook's fire, he's second only to Kobe. If he had a team on his own, we would witness some amazing things .
Completely agreed! Westbrook is playing at an insane level right now and has been since a couple weeks before the ASG.
My favorite non Laker game this year was when these two went head to head just before the ASG. Westbrook had like 45 points and Davis had like 39 and the two kept scoring down the stretch, but Davis sank that insane three point shot at the buzzer to win it. INSANE game!!! That was so much fun to watch. I have to admit I'm liking the young crop of stars in the NBA, between Curry, Klay, Westbrook, Davis . . . it's great to see players of this caliber.
Love Westbrook's energy and passion. Just so much fun to watch. The kid needs to develop his skill level though. His game is still based 95% on athleticism. Once that speed starts to fade, who is going to be afraid of this kid as he ages? I'd dare him to keep shooting from the perimeter and clog the paint.
nba claims harden fouled (which he was, but seriously, screw that guy and the horse he flopped in on), but totally ignores the obvious foul on gasol. I guess because he's a real man who made the game winner despite being fouled?
