So, Donovan Mitchell imitating Vince Carter got a 50, while Junior imitating Senior did not? IMO, based on Larry's score on his first dunk in the first round, Mitchell could not have deserved more than a 44 on his last winning dunk, I mean saw that dunk before, right?
    :No2:

P.S. DJ Khaled sucks. I was hoping players-only judged the competition.

    Mitchell barely made that dunk.

I thought Larry's dunks were great.

I thought having celebrity judges who've never played basketball in their lives was idiotic. What the f*** do DJ Khaled and Chris Rock know?

I was okay with the outcome, but the bias against the big man was real. Mitchell had great flavor, but Larry more than held his own in the competition.

Hadn't watched it yet but I agree that celeb judges are a gimmick and just for show...stupid idea.

Agreed realdeal. And the sound of all of them talking at the same time following each dunk over their mics was annoying as well.

Nance is one of those players I can’t see ever not rooting for or continuing to follow his career. I don’t have many of those, one is Ariza, some players just make me long time fans with how they play and how they carry themselves on and off the court.

It's probably because of the jersey change from #24 to #22, he is less associated with the Lakers so he won't get unfavorable calls like he used to.

Yeah, but I think that first was paramount for Pelinka because he intends to shop the hell out of that thing to try and dump Deng. I think Clarkson for Frye/IT probably could have happened. Picks and their "mystery box" component are more appealing than the steady Nance when trying to dump contracts. It was a risk, but one that I'd have been willing to take as well. Randle has become too good to not do everything in your power to keep.

if that's true, i'm actually a bit upset. i think nance would have more value than a first in attempts to move deng. that will be a pick in the 20s. chances of finding someone as good as nance there are extremely low, historically speaking. if nba gms are all that dumb/overconfident in their drafting ability, perhaps i should switch careers.

my assumption has been that they felt clarkson for IT/frye was giving up too much on their end, thus the inclusion of nance for their 1st.

His numbers in Cleveland are sick. 11.3 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.3 steals, 1.1 blocks, 60% FGs - all in 23 minutes per game.

I agree it won't last, for various reasons, but his ORtg is 140 and his DRtg is 104 right now. His BPM is +5.5. These are pretty silly numbers.

But .... like doing a pretty "solid" all things considered for DLO (not that I think for any stretch that was paramount in the FO's consideration) .... in sending him to a big market team rather than worse places ........ that they really did a "solid" for Nance in sending him HOME where he can now wear his dad's number and Dad and extended family and friends can come out and watch him play. A real win win for that kind of transaction that like Jeanie says, is not one of our favorite things to have to happen.
