He started off really slow but he carried this team afterwards a lot.

Prepare for a max offer from the Mavs. We should have offered him an extension last summer.

Yeah but a lot of folks are optimistic, thinking that we could sign him for $12-15M. The truth is that Julius is a max or near max player.

    Randle and THE SALT!

Between seeing Randle do that, hit the big shot, and Lonzo's 3 straight BIG 3's I can't remember the last time I laughed and yelled that loud. Hell Ya!!!

I watched a lot of Julius in high school and he was very athletic. I think it took him awhile to fully recover from that leg injury; he looks much more athletic to me than I have seen him in awhile, and he's trying to dunk everything around the rim.

We need to pay this man.

Watching Cachooka's highlights, Randle beat up Bertans a lot in the first half.

Do what it takes to get rid of Deng. Randle is worth keeping.

Let us get our max guys, then pay the man what he needs. Right now if it's a max deal, I'm not fighting him hard on it. Just let us get what we need first.

My first take after catching up with the 2nd half on time shift .... wait for it .... LOLOL once again Randle cracking guys in the head with his off arm and one time over Pau's head going for a rebound with his elbow. I counted 5 or 6 times. Not really cool. But it's OUR not really cool painful player to go up against. Jules had some beastly plays tonight.

I'd hate to start a new dispute but.... technically what we need is:

    1. a star wing - George
    2. a versatile big that can play PF/C and guard all positions - Randle
    3. a backup PG - IT
    4. 7 footers - Lopez and Zubac

    All set

We need young players that can run and defend. At age 34 and beyond Lebron does not meet this profile. He's more of a want (not what we need) at this point and could potentially be a distraction to what we're trying to build.

We've been through this enough, I know @therealdeal would agree, but I'm with him in the case he makes. Sure, we would all love if George would just come to us no matter what but I think it will need to be another great player (like a Lebron) to come with him before he decides to come our way. Again a lot can change especially with OKC's schedule going to start getting tougher and they are in the 7th seed. But I don't think we get PG without another star coming. In a perfect scenario I agree with you @tada and what you mentioned above.

Pfffft ..... don't need no steeenking LeBron to get PG. We control our own and his destiny. Simple ....OKC gonna do what they do & fart around & make the playoffs and exit the playoffs short of WCF. Meanwhile we win out from here. Shock the world and he comes on the first jet or sports car ride home to L.A. never looking back. Easy peasy.

I really don’t have anything to add, I’d be repeating what’s already been said, Randle is a beast right now. So, here’s a a tweet from his wife of his son being adorable

I'm changing my tune on keeping this dude long term. He's been possessed lately. I feel like he genuinely cares and wants to win, which is better than any other stat out there.

Dude is a winner and he developed into a star player this year. Keep.

Also, it's hard to say who is better in their role right now - Randle, Zo or Isiah... Ingram too, but he did not play last night. We have a bright future fellas.

Admittedly my knowledge of the cap figures has dipped a lot over the past ten years (marriage and such can do that).

After our Clarkson trade, what are the options for keeping Randle and getting a top tier FA?

Is it two free agents if we stretch Deng, and two free agents plus keeping Randle if we can find a way to deal Deng?
