JC was a class act as a Laker. He wasn't here during an "easy" period. Lots of pressure, lots of losing, constantly changing teammates and coaches...he stuck to his guns.
Miller is a fool. A star in the making? I love Jordan, but no he's not. Jordan could get hot and capture people's attention in the playoffs maybe, but a star in the making? No. The media is already beginning their pro-Cleveland spin. Woj went on Dan Patrick this morning saying the Lakers are still punting. This nonsense about Clarkson last night. C'mon. Cleveland rebuilt overnight and they might be a little more athletic, but they're not winning anything and LeBron is leaving this summer. You think he's sticking around now because they went and got Jordan Clarkson? Were people really thinking LeBron was clamoring to play with Jordan when he was here? I didn't think so. Anyway, good luck JC. I hope he make noise in the playoffs.
JC put up respectable numbers, and was constantly ridiculed. I guess that torch will be passed to Randle now.
His IG post was very heartwarming and he will be missed (at least by me). Who's going to be the new punching bag?
His Instagram post was written by someone else. I don't think I've ever heard JC string 5 words together in his life.
Woj said we were still punting? WTF. The mothership at BSPN beamed him up inside and did experiments on him, changed him and dropped him back down as another lackey with anti Lakers bias. That's my theory.
I'm not getting it either buddy. How is Gilbert looking out for LaBron when he's still sitting on the freaking BK pick that could have probably brought in Kemba from Charlotte. You know he wants to play with a fellow star and with Love on the pine, none of those 4 dudes they brought in fit that bill (well maybe Nance in the forseeable future....miss ya bro!) This is the way I look at it. LaBron is honoring his contract which is why he is playing it out till the summer and didn't demand a trade. Gilbert held onto the pick and didn't trade it for a star, so he's more concerned about the future. Then why should LaBron be convinced to forego his future in free agency. If Gilbert did everything he could to keep LaBron, that 1st round pick would have been traded, showing LaBron that he is 100% committed to the here and now...which forces LaBron to act accordingly. Btw, LaBron sure looks thrilled about all the trades....
Exactly. And LeBron found out about all this stuff second hand? From a guy on the team who might also be leaving?? Jeez. That relationship seems solid.
jc for his warts worked hard to get to this pt, mid 2nder out performed several lottery pick from draft class. he'll always be a laker to me, like eddie jones even a lil nick the quick to me
JC is going to improve as a 3pt shooter with Lebron getting him open looks ... less off the dribble 3s than with us
if IT leaves and James leaves clev (doesn't have to come to LA) I wouldn't mind finding out JC asking price if we attached Deng from our end.
Most teams would love a Lou Williams/Jordan Clarkson type coming off the bench. I would definitely take him back warts and all. Just interview that playa less so my opinions of him aren’t affected by how he speaks to the media.
