We'll definitely be missing Larry's great attitude, hustle and crazy dunks. He's a good guy and good teammate. I don't think anyone is happy to see him go. At least he's going home and hopefully his play will be appreciated there. Nice that he and JC will finally get a taste of the playoffs.

The more i think about it, the more sad i get. First Laker since the Caron days i want to see back (well i kind of wanted Ariza back too). Still, guy will be missed.

...have a really good, healthy career Larry Nance Jr. Maybe someday you'll do an A.C. Green and come back. Serious too.

Check out Larry’s number. They have Clarkson #8. :D

Kinda figured of all the young guys Nance was gonna be the one delt. Was really hoping he’d stay a Laker for a while but business is business and team has got to get better so sacrifices had to be made. Thank you Nance for the dunks, the highlights, and the professionalism.

Think about the value of Nance for a second (and its not to discredit JC).

Out of all the major deals that started last summer till this deadline, only the Philly C bag 1-3 swap, Butler trade, Kyrie trade, Bledsoe trade, Blake trade and Niko trade involved 1st round picks.

Kyrie, Blake, Bledsoe and Butler are all legit names and allstars and it makes sense how another team would send back a 1st rounder to get them. Butler was a pick swap and didn't lead to the Bulls getting an extra pick. The Philly C-bag pick swap led to Danny getting another 1st rounder from Philly, but its heavily protected. The Bulls had to absorb a salary dump in Asik to get the Pels 1st rounder in the Niko deal. Also note that Asik's contract is 3 years in length just like JC's, however Asik's final year is non-guaranteed. Also JC is making roughly 2M more per season compared to Asik.

Meanwhile, JC's "salary dump" did not involve us having to surrender a 1st round pick. Remarkably, instead we're the ones that got a 1st rounder for dumping salary. Unbelievable! That tells me all I need to know about the value of Nance. Dude netted us a 1st rounder.

And props to the FO for extracting it when 1st rounders were clearly at a premium in this market place.

As one of the best persons and most mature pros on the team, he will be very much missed heavily.

I wish him the best and hope, he might one day join the Lakers again.

Anyway bummed both are gone. I wish them well in Cleveland. This is a trade that could work out well for both teams.
