Kinda makes me wanna throw up a little to see Austin Rivers is actually ahead of Curry in a 3pt shooting category.
eh, gotta credit rivers for turning a weakness into a strength. while i think the nepotism on display there was jarring, it makes one wonder how many other players might have found a place in the league with just a little more patience.
Why I posted this a week or so ago in the NBA section. Just thought it was pretty good insight into the guy and his self awareness about how he feels he's unfairly perceived by many. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...-unloads-critics-says-more-doc-rivers-son-nba Oooops almost forgot my Gal here for the associated Clippers olfactory experience.
right. bs flying in all directions right now. cavs hesitant to take on his contract. get the f*** out of my office.
:Randallconfused: His contract is a bargain compared to what comparable players got paid the same offseason and the following offseason as him. I believe he took a little less money to stay with us. He’s out there getting $12/13 mil putting up 15/3/3 while guys like Allen Crabbe are making 19 mil.
Or Dan Gilbert being cheap and saying “sorry, we tried so hard. LLLLL was just never going to be loyal no matter what we did.” I’m kind of enjoying the meltdown over there right now
Huge 3rd quarter, we desperately needed those threes. Buuuut, then he went full JC, idiotic passes, selfish play, looking off Lopez in the post, not great.
Never really liked Amico as a legit source, but the trade deadline approacheth and any type of buzz probably has wings now. Plus Woj reported JC to Cleveland last week. Rob wasnt our GM yet this time last season, but Magic did something similar last year at the deadline by netting a low 1st rounder for Lou. Maybe something similar is in the works for JC and then we go into the buy out/waived market to get that bench scorer back.
Amico sucks. I would be intrigued if we could snake the Brooklyn pick for Randle/Clarkson but I wouldn't expect it. Clarkson for Cavs pick/matching salary would be great. I'd love to get Crowder out of there even if he takes a little long-term salary.
