    Luke is safe. Windhorst is Lebron's mouthpiece. Lebron obviously wants Fizdale so Windhorst is telling the Lakers that. He's giving the Lakers a heads up so they can do this and make it seem like it was the Lakers decision so Lebron doesn't walk through the door as a coach killer.

    Yes, that’s what I was getting at as well. I’m not stuck on Luke, he’s..fine for now. I just don’t want to see him fired and our next coach be hired to pitch to LeBron, that’s lame. If the Lakers genuinely think Fizdale is a great coach and can take us to another level, ok that’s one thing, but don’t do it to woo LeBron. Especially with yet another coach 2 years into a 4 or 5 year deal, that’s a terrible look. I think Windhorst is just speculating anyway, like he does, really don’t like that guy. He has zero sense of humor, he acts annoyed like he just sat down and has to get back up when anyone asks him a question, and he thinks he’s so great when in reality he doesn’t have a career without LeBron.

    Can he coach up tempo? He’s had the slow it down gang for years. Not sure anyone knows how he’s do with pace

    How about letting Luke finish the f****** season and seeing what we look like after 41 more games before wishing for this. I thought we wanted to play fast like GS and Magic wants and Luke knows what that looks like.

    LT, I like Luke more than most around here. I did go to bat for him and still do...but if anybody on this team is the sacrificial lamb in getting us a star, I wouldn't even hesitate.

    I'm hoping Luke sticks, cause he's played around stars (Kobe & Pau), been coached by a star (Phil) and has managed stars (stint with the Dubs while Kerr was out). I sincerely believe if you bring in stars for Luke, he'll succeed with them in this offense and particularly with our defense.

    Also, unlike Thibs, he won't overwork our star players and manage their minutes accordingly to prolong their careers in purple & gold and have enough juice for the real season, come May.

    But if the stars want another coach...sorry Luke. Hope its not personal.

    LeBron James is not the only path to us starting to win if you f****** start with Paul George. Paul George changes everything. Barring injuries GS isn't going anywhere next year or 2 but we will be on their a**es building in the meantime with PG here and his own magnetism starting to pull the good vets. Give me Cousins. We need a beast of a true big, skilled 5 anyway.
