So many 3 pts looks given up because he's too slow to guard on the perimeter .

Well he played as many minutes as Julius so I guess he's as good as Randle is .

One day , maybe , Luke will stop trying to keep everybody happy and will focus on winning games instead

We were probably praying we can show case Brook enough to trade him. Maybe the immediate plan now is KCP ;) I agree doe.. Time for Julius to step in. Heck id rather probs see Bogut start instead of Lopez for 8 minutes before going to Julius.

To be fair to Lopez, I didn’t expect much from him because I never really watched him. I was just glad that Mosgov was gone. Now that he is here, I didn’t realize how big he is compared to everyone on the floor. He teased us with the 3 ball, but his interior offense isn’t that bad, awkward looking because it’s so slow, but not bad. I have concluded that he is just a really big man on a young team that has now figured out how to run at an effectively fast pace and most of the time. Thus, Lopez tires quicker now.

His first quarter wasn’t bad. Then came the air balls and turnovers. I was ready to sit him after that. Granted his leash is about as short as a popsicle stick, for me.

Probably just because we know Randle would give us so much more production and hustle. Brook looks pretty bad in comparison right now.

THis is isn't the worst part. Before doing this travesty above, he let LBJ just walk into the lane for a dunk, got blocked by JR Smith, goal tended a shot, and turned the ball over because he couldn't catch a pass

Ohhh and he missed a wide open dunk after lonzo gave him a perfect pass. I was beyond upset with how he played against the Knicks, you can only imagine how I felt in that 5+ min stretch.

    ^Couldn't have said it better

Yeah garbage. Every big not named Randle and Kuzma can pack their bags at this point.

When did we start sitting out vets last year? Around March? I can't remember.

Either way, if I were the Front Office, I would have a conversation with Brook; essentially telling him that we are going to develop the youth for the rest of the year. The sooner that conversation happens, the better, IMO.

I would experiment; start Julius at the 5 exclusively; bring Bryant up from the minors and start developing him; he could back up Randle or even play along side Randle if you wanted to try that out.

Point is, Brook isn't a long-term solution at Center and he is on a 1 year deal. Maybe even look for a deal whereby you could take an expiring back on a wing who can shoot or a backup point guard to try out the rest of the year.

Last year we sat our vets to tank. This year we may need to sit them to win. I don’t think there’s a trade that allows us to take back equal expirings for Lopez, but I’m with you, if there is I’m all for it.

Yeah. The irony. LOL. Lopez is a net negative on most nights. Time to sit him soon. IMO.

And yes, his large expiring makes it difficult to find a suitor; but I'd be looking.

we might be better off just letting him expire, but we sure aren't getting what we're paying for

I agree. If we'e trying to impose our style on teams and create an identity by pushing the pace, he isn't helping.

We need to go in a different direction.
