No, it isnt. This is professional sports. If Lavar doesnt behave, his a** won't have a seat at Staples. So, Lavar will need to pay attention to his own life and shut up or the Lakers will shut him up.

he hasnt said anything bad towards the laker, they cant tell him to shut up, they only prevent media access. mgmt cant bloc
if mgmt. could shut him up he'd be quite by now and there's no rules in staples that says he has to shut up or get booted, Lakers dont own Staple's

They said it was an existing rule, but suddenly they are enforcing it. (To be fair)

And reporters have verified this. It was a rule they began following more strictly this season. It's possibly a preemptive action against Lavar but that's impossible to prove. Besides, even if that's what they're doing, It's nothing truly impactful. The important thing is getting Lonzo on track. Everything else, including his loud mouth dad, is just noise.

The 8-15 Los Angeles Lakers have lost five straight games, and LaVar Ball says his son is "disgusted."

The Ball family patriarch appeared on SiriusXM NBA Radio on Tuesday and discussed his eldest son, Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball, and Lonzo's reaction to his team's form: "He's disgusted. He's not used to losing like this. The Lakers should build around Lonzo. Why are they sitting him down and not starting him [in] the fourth quarter? This is why the record is raggedy."

What's Kuzma's mom's take on things, I wonder, her son is far and beyond the best player on the team and the coach is trying his all to hinder his progress

See, I wish I didn’t have to read stuff like this. It’s probably true, Lonzo isn’t used to losing, ever, he’s been a winner wherever he’s gone. The problem is, he’s not helping us win right now with his play. His shooting is horrible, he isn’t aggressive enough, and he has a hard time one on one on defense. He’s a rookie, he was never going to add 10 wins to our team like some thought, he’s a rebuilding piece, a key piece. When his moron father says things like this, all it does it give haters an opening to say “well if he’s disgusted, he should stop sucking and help the team win then”, when Lonzo isn’t the one saying any of this. What people SHOULD be laughing about is how f****** stupid Philly looks for trading the #3 pick AND a future first for Fultz when they could have had Tatum. But no, spotlight is so bright on Lonzo it’s blinding, and that moron Lavar won’t stfu.

I can’t believe that he believes the words falling out of his own face.

But, if Lonzo really is disgusted, and he’s blaming others for his failures, that’s not a good sign. That’s immaturity. And narcissism.

But he did say his favorite player was LLLLL

I honestly don’t think it is Lonzo. I don’t know him obviously but it seems out of character for him because he seems to be a consummate team player. I think it is LaVar likely putting words in Lonzo’s mouth. Lonzo should be disgusted with losing especially when the Lakers have had opportunities to close out good teams.

I didn't take it at all as Lonzo cracking on teammates. Disgusted with losing yes but he seems normal and has to have a grounded look at himself unlike his father who is bats*** crazy with the stuff he says and probably even believes now since it is so imbedded in his IMO warped personality. All about him. Cannot believe the events of this past month that started with pulling Melo out of school and then the China shoplifting. He stiffed the Chinese ESPN and camera production company too don't forget. He's wrecking that family aside from Lonzo who has a career. Always my opinion, but just look at the decisions he's unilaterally making. HS done for Melo and UCLA scholarships for both him and Gelo now history. And neither likely will ever sniff the NBA.
