Exactly. And after listening to how these players up in the Bay Area talk about Luke they'd really have a lot to say if Luke got fired.
I think we are talking about different things But Ima pretend I agree with you so I don't have to go back a page and read.
Gotta love the Ox one worded questions or answers lol. 1) Lebron. 2)Strengthen our coaching staff/Upper MGMT. 3) Build relationships and connections around the league, players included. Both guys are highly respected. Just talking out loud..not pounding the table or anything haha.
Well, I don't blame this one on Luke. This was a young team with growing pains loss. They just all blew it down the stretch. Unglued. Turnover city. Oh well. Got to learn from these.
If only a coach had the power to do something ... like decide on offensive strategy or defensive strategy. Or rotation. Or timeouts. Nah.
Uh oh another coach poo line has now been crossed and I have no slow sorrowful back and forth turning DLO head to put here. Need that back sirron if you're going this route nationally with Luke now. Yikes.
You never know he may realize the 1st unit is terrible when the Rockets are up 25 in the 1st quarter tomorrow . Please change the thread title to : I got 99 problems but starting Larry Nance Jr ain't one ! Thank you .
Luke is officially the chemistry buster. Everytime we have chemistry building with any unit this season he kills it with his untimely benching. Nance is not the defensive Juggernaut that he thinks he is. Kuzma needs to start to give us some sort of triple threat when we're lacking shooters.
Luke is G League coach... this is why legacy hires suck, there are better coaches in the market but Mitch went with PR instead of competence.
I was talking to @abeer3 last night and mentioned that our best unit is: Ball, JC, BI, Kuzma and Randle. That is who should have finished the game against Denver. Randle went out; Nance comes in and we're outscored 8-2 in that span. Then, Luke puts Randle in at 2:24 left in the 4th quarter when we were down by 7; essentially, the damage had already been done. I understand this roster has 30-win talent. I get it. You don't have to explain that to concept to me; however, in my very humble uneducated opinion, you have mix/match your best players on every given night. That means if you don't have a "star" you can count on, you have to choose the best 5 player combinations throughout the course of the game to give yourselves the best chance to win games ESPECIALLY when the other teams (Denver) is missing their entire starting front-court. The last two games: Clippers and Denver. Luke's coaching is leaving a lot to be desired and he's leaving wins on the basketball court. That's not acceptable. This is a very important time to win games. Tonight is Houston; which is probably a loss; and that's why it becomes more important to get the win last night knowing you might be blown out in Houston on a back to back. Luke needs to coach better, simply put. If he doesn't, he'll be on his way out.
