Well hes not part of the future. Play Nance and Randle together in starting lineup? Youd think they would be good to expose incase you wanna trade them too?
Going into the year I had some nice hopes for him, even thought about trying to find away to get him back here if we did sign other players next year. Now...just let him go.
This. He was frustrated from the outset. I don't like his approach right now and I don't think the team is making even half an effort to use him effectively. Two wrongs are making this a really ugly start of the year for him. The good news is he's tanking the hell out of his value. It's possible he re-signs for ultra cheap if this keeps going. The rumors of Lopez signing for the 4 million Room Exception look pretty great right now.
Yeah, I actually feel a bit bad for him. Luke's coaching is doing him zero favors. But he needs to right his own ship too.
First 4 or 5 possessions last night were him posting up. Dude gave us absolutely nothing. He gives more effort cussing on his way to the bench.
Posting up against DeAndre Jordan though with little-to-no movement off the ball. Why isn't anyone cutting? Why isn't anyone setting screens? I'm not a big believer in DeAndre Jordan at this point, but he's still a big, strong rim protector. That gameplan doesn't make any sense.
I'd start Kuz and Randle , play them 30 minutes ... and bring Lopez and Nance for 18 mins off the bench
We can't set good screens ... This is one of our biggest weaknesses as a team. Off topic but I had to say it
Wasn't it just before this slump where he had a pair of good games? Luke system does not do any favors for BroLo.
The consistency of most players is all over the map on this team. And then the most consistent players can’t get consistently adequate minutes. When it’s this bad, and your lone proven vet All Star Big doesn’t even look good, at some point you have to start looking at the coaching and leadership. It’s like a big WTF every single game. Most consistent players are Kuzma, Randle, and Clarkson, and they now all come off the bench.
6 points 1 board in 17 mins. I realize GS is a bad matchup for him, but Pachulia put up 11/6 in 14 mins. No excuses, awful game, awful stretch of games, awful. If he weren’t a giant expiring contract I’d expect us to be looking to move him right now, but sadly he is, and we need that for the FA plan, so he remains to absolutely kill our starting lineup.
Harsh, but true. He's been about as ice cold as anyone I've seen. The bones and talent are still there, but he's completely out of it and our team is better when he's not on the floor.
