I didn't think they needed to adjust his shot yet but still at least if you KNOW your shooting is broken why not take it to the rack? He's taller than most PG and seems a lot faster than Dlo, I hated that Dlo didn't take it into the paint as much but worse part about ball is he can't even convert layups either now. Whatever system that Luke is implementing isn't take advantage of Ball true talent for passing, I know he isn't ball dominant but he should be and the O should revolve around Ball. We dont have GSW talent and Ball can't shoot to replicate GSW style of play either, right now he looks like Livingston out there, just a tall PG that can't shoot worth a lick.

    He blew the game. Period.

he's just a liability for us offensively right now. Literally he's the worst shooter of all time if the season ended right now (with the amount of minutes he's played).

He needs to STOP SHOOTING THREES and start taking it to the hole. I don't know how many times we need to say this.

That shot is ugly as f***. How the hell do you teach a kid to shoot like that, my gawd. Start working on a new form asap. Results can't be any worse than they are now.

To me, I'm curious as why he's forcing those shots and not attacking the rim, drawing fouls, or making plays. He's wide open almost every shot, if he just attacked the basket, someone has to rotate, and he can dish to someone else.

I'm sure Luke/Lavar/the team is telling him to keep shooting to try to get his confidence up, but right now, he needs to see the ball go into the basket. He needs some easy ones.

He's thinking way to much about those shots and it's getting to him. GO TO THE BASKET AND CREATE.

You answered your own question ;)
It's harder to pass a defender when he's giving you room and daring you to shoot.

Even if he's been dared to shoot, I'd still try to attack the body and draw fouls or something. He's not even trying to get to the basket.

Livingston can definitely shoot, he has a nice mid range jumper. Also has one of the best post games I've seen in a PG.

Livingston is a seasoned vet with rings now who understands his own limitations and makes the most of his advantages. He doesn't shoot threes that he can't make. To me that's Lonzo's biggest offensive failing. He's shooting 25% from three but continues to chuck them with very little chance of making them. It's ok if it's a bail out play at the end of the shot clock, but he's launching some early in the clock and that won't do. Take it to the hole young man. Tear drops, layups, easy shots closer to the basket, or kick it back out. He needs to do the higher percentage things like Ingram has done. And why isn't the coaching staff insisting on that? They seem to be encouraging Ball to keep on bricking from three. With Ingram they did the opposite, telling him to drive instead of settling.

It's not his form, it's him. He's lost confidence and apparently there's no coach telling him how to improve and how to attack (or the importance of him being aggressive).

For goodness sake son, take the ball off the rim and go to the basket every single play. Every single time up the floor just run towards the rim.

...or play off the ball a bit. Ball did that with Holliday at UCLA.

Getting him off the ball with a player that can actually find him would be a dream.

Paul George? Is that you? LeBron? Anyone?

Honestly, he's getting most of his looks off ball anyways.

I also don't like how long he sits. Luke plays this "hot hand" garbage and when something starts to crack, he puts a cold Lonzo in with 3 minutes to go. How the hell can you expect to get into any sort of rhythm?

Of the two, James would be great to set Ball up...relieve him of the pressure. On the flip side of the coin, we need a go to scorer in clutch situations for Ball to set up. Ingram isn't quite there yet and iffy at the charity stripe. That is where George would be plus.

Should be coming off the bench his first couple of years.

But that’s not how we do things.
