If Lopez is secretly injured, he better sit his a** down and heal. If he’s not, I’m stumped then because he has no excuse to play like this. Absolute garbage. 7 footer with no effect on the inside other than a block here and there, pathetic.
I'm starting to feel like I don't want Lopez back next year. He's looking useless these past two games.
At that kind of price tag, we need a player that’s going to bring it every night. Brook is not that guy apparently.
If the front office fails to attract 2 Max FAs, and we have to resign only one between him and KCP, it is KCP hands down at this point
I've never warmed up to wanting him back tbh. He hasn't had two consecutive good games thus far. I prefer Julius over KCP and Lopez.
Move to the bench or trade him. Outside shot is not there (teams are giving him the shot), post moves have been dreadful to watch and he’s barely giving us anything on defense/rebounding. Maybe going against second teamers would boost the confidence, but of course we have a guy that NEEDS to start based on name, not the game. (Pau part 2)
Until he snaps out of whatever is going on, he’s basically only a large expiring contract right now. He’s playing very Mozgov-like.
The most disappointing offseason acquisition so far, I thought he's gonna be an all star here I guess not
I'm ok with Lopez. If he was good, maybe the Lakers would become stupid enough to resign him. With his play right now, he ends all the thinking process about keeping him. He is a slow dinasour.
Our lack of shooting and our relatively simple half-court sets don't really help him, but he's also not helping himself with his poor energy and inability to focus.
I always thought he'd be a guy that hopefully has solid value by the trade deadline to squeeze a lil more juice out of the Russell trade.
He's a (lot) less talented version of April 2011-April 2014 Gasoft . Ship his soft a** out and bring him off the bench until then . ( the latter will never happen though)
