I remember Westbrook being slightly scrutinized, but it was in an endearing way.

right. they're lame, but they're assists for other players, too. just no one's on a crusade about such scoring strategies for anyone but lonzo ball, which is as suspicious as those assists.

i'll play: fox hit the outside of the net on one of his three point attempts...and still looked like the better shooter.

    :speechless:

Just a new reason to hate ESPN more. What are they going to do if their boy Bron actually does come to the Lakers?

    OK.

    [tinfoil-hat]
ESPN has business interests with Nike/Adidas/Whatever. Lavar goes against the grain. Higher-ups meet and devise a plan to put pressure on Lavar -- no positive press for Lonzo, unless...

Take the hat off. He's a new kind of a boor leveraging Lonzo's game and fame for his own fame and family business and making his kid's life harder in the process than it needed to be post college and setting him up for being a media whipping boy to get back at LaVar.

Can Lonzo learn to shoot better? - yes

Could a player learn the timing of the pass, feel for the game and even nose for rebounding - no

Does Lonzo play in a way which inspires passing and ball movement in even summer league players? - yes

Has Lonzo faced tremendous pressure that outside of playoffs, significant injury or death of a loved one will not get any worse - From bust to Buss, multi-ring champion Lonzo Ball to get slice of Laker pie.

Lonzo is playing tight at times, overthinking his shot and facing the A game of the names of the league (and the no names wanting to beat the gunslinger so they can be the man) I don't mind any criticism he gets on this board in study or jest but he should be getting FULL support at Staples.

Am I biased - yes, but the eye test shows this guy is special and I haven't felt this way about a player for a WHILE.

Yeah i almost had to slap my brother earlier and hes like "why are you getting mad". Ive discussed with him so early in his career im not worried about shooting cause everything else legitimately seems there. SO, give me a better f***ing surrounding cast and a time machine before we crown his a** this and that. RIP Denny Green.

Happy thanksgiving yall. Appreciate you guys on here giving discussion though i been a lil grouchy. Were headed in the right direction, lets ride together.

I agree and I don't think many 20 yr old rookies could handle the amount of scrutiny and coverage Zo gets

Great photo and headline, especially when they have nothing to do with each other.

Watching that Lonzo clip just reminds me of how many bricklayers we have on this team.

His shot is seriously broken. They keep, saying they aren't going to make any adjustments to his stroke mid season, but man I don't know how you could make it any worse. It's seriously one of, if not the ugliest shot I've seen from a point guard ever. Even non-shooters like Ricky Rubio and Rajon Rondo at least look like professionals. Lonzo needs to have Kuzma give him some lessons on shooting form.
