He's honestly the best fit by far. Athletic, great and willing passer, versatile defensively... man I'm getting pumped just thinking about it!

You know how bad the entire system of OKC is for PG? Even me, PG's biggest fan in the world, it's making me think he may not be as good as I thought he is which never crossed my mind the entire time he was playing for Indiana and he had some streaks of terrible games there.

Probably will be everyone's issue here with PG. Not taking shots. Passing the ball too much.

But yeah, Kuzma, Ingram, Randle, and other 2-4 players can definitely learn a thing or two from PG about being a great if not elite defender.

(Yeah, I've mentioned Kuzma ahead of everyone. He's the untouchable for me as of post time.)

As much as I’ve made my feelings clear about why I don’t want LLLLLabron, it’s not because of fit. If he could stay on the court, it’s a perfect fit

either lebron or paul george (or both, dammit) would be a great fit in la. cuz...talent. two way players who have led winning teams. sign me the f up.

as i said above, i hate how okc is handling george right now. he's their second-best player, and the gap between him and westbrook is MUCH smaller than the gap between him and melo. you'd never guess that with how they run their squad.

anyway, won't get too excited, as it's a long season and in the nba talent tends to prevail. but...if FA started right now, i'd be feeling very good.

Westbrook is an statistical machine. However his game doesn't translate to year in and year out of winning titles. Most aren't.

I'll give this team another 20 games. If they are sitting at 18-21, then they are toast, even if they go on a run at the end of the year.

westbrook's like kobe--he needs the right kind of second banana. gasol was perfect in this regard. i'm not sure who it is right now, but it's not george. maybe anthony davis (who's a pretty good #1 himself)? the trick is finding talented players who want to submit to the will (and talent) of a westbrook. it may be harder than it seems. and i'm a big westbrook fan.

i really think their best bet going forward might be to find three more steven adams(es) for the 2, 3, and 4 spot: gutty guys who know their role and are happy with it. defense first, second, and third; rely on westbrook's brilliance to get buckets, employ a jamal crawford/nick van exel type off the bench.

if roberson could hit the broad side of a barn, this is who i'm thinking of. prime sefalosha, prime nick collison, prime rick fox, current steven adams, then westbrook. if i'm okc's management, i'm trying to do this now.

and if i'm the lakers, i'm willing to help...now.

Westbrook is not like Kobe. If Kobe had melo and PG, they wouldn't be 8-11.

    true...i guess?

    he went 8-10 with shaq.

acting like melo is a huge plus right now is pretty silly.

not really sure how to take these bizarre reactions, actually. sounds as bad as those who clutch their pearls when kobe's compared to mj. suggesting that aspects of westbrook's game and persona are like aspects of kobe's game and persona are not a threat...they're an observation.

kobe struggled to play well with others at times and required a certain kind of teammate. reducing this to "westbrook isn't kobe" bloviating isn't productive.

No one on the Lakers in 2003 were better than PG or Melo. It's funny, I had a feeling someone was gonna bring the 11-19 record up.

because it's super relevant. sometimes seasons start bad and good players don't play well together.

and yeah, 2003 shaq certainly isn't 2017 melo or pg.

    Westbrook similar to Kobe?
That's a huge insult to Kobe and his jump shooting.

Westbrook shots selection makes Kobe's look like a smart one . Kobe had superior fundamental and more 1 on 1 skills too.

Westbrook is the worst superstar at making decisions I've ever seen in the clutch ( Haren isn't far behind).

No team is going to win a title with him handling the rock in key moments
