    You rebel you

There are lots of “star players“ on teams with crappy records this year.

    LOTS

If we can’t get the right combination, I’d pick continuity and chemistry over talent and volatility

I am SHOCKED at how bad OKC has been. I thought their pieces would fit very nicely and I was convinced they would be the 2nd best team in the Western Conference. They will eventually get it together...but can you imagine if they...didn't? Maybe Melo really is that bad? Look at how much better the Knicks are without Melo....they might make the playoffs!!! The most shocking thing has been Westbrook though. I don't think he's going to play this bad for the whole season but I also am not surprised at how bad he's playing. I think that last year has definitely taken a toll on his body. And MAYBE westbrook is one of those guys that just plays better with role players around him much like Harden...like he can't have another star playing with him. #

I think they make the playoffs still obviously but I think they could be a 1st round exit depending on the matchup OR get beat badly in the 2nd round. I do not see WCF for them like I originally thought. Basically, our chances of getting PG are way more legit than I expected. And if we keep up this current play and stay close enough to 8 seed and actually challenge for the spot? Look the eff out!

I still think they're the 4th best team in the west.

In related news, OKC dominating GSW in an 108-91 victory.

Their defense in the perimeter is suffocating.

Yeah I believe they're going to be in that 4-6 range seed in the playoffs. The only teams I believe that we can kick out of the playoffs trajectory are the pelicans/nuggets (w/Millsap out, injured) and potentially take that 8th seed

Like I said what an odd odd team. Never see a team that can pile on points that quick and defend that well, lose so many 20 point leads. If they get it together they’re the 2nd best team in the west.

Actually despite losing so many games, I think most NBA fans, at least those who really know how the sport works believe OKC can really beat anybody when they do it right.

It's just a matter of consistency from those three individually and as a unit and they'd be a hard one to beat!

Like come on. WB, Melo & PG.

I actually hope every team performs to best of their ability, and that the best players will want to come here, and that we'll beat everyone eventually anyways.

So props to them for raising the bar a bit, and taking one from the champs. Hope they can make the playoffs exciting this year, and no matter whoever makes it out of the West, that they are equipped to throw 4L's on LLLLL's team.

Christ people. Everytime OKC wins it's "George isn't coming". They lose the next day, ooooo, he's coming to LA. Come on.

the only way PG would actually be dissatisfied in OKC and want out would be if they missed the playoffs, which is not happening

OKC losing to GSW in the WCF would only make him want to stay for "unfinished business" not come to a worse team. at this point, i'd be shocked if he left and signed with the lakers

why would PG leave the only team in the west capable of beating GSW and come to LA?

like i said, unless they miss the playoffs or there's some major beef between him and westbrook/melo i just don't see why he'd leave that situation

Based off advanced stats and team point differential, OKC ranks right behind warriors, c-bags and rockets. They should be around a 13-5 record. For whatever reason they haven’t converted. Curious to see if they can get it rolling. IMO they’re the only team constructed with the idea of taking on GSW.

2 premier defenders to slow down Klay and durant. An offensive PG to play curry even. A mobile defensive presence C who can stay on the floor at all times and hit his free throws. And a PF that ties Draymond up defensively. Where they give up ground is the bench unit, but this year GSW’s bench looks a bit weaker too.

Would love to see the GSW get beat in the playoffs so badly!
