PREACH brother!!! I love this team, win or lose. Luke has done a great job so far and the players are buying in to the system. Just love the way we play defense and how we are switching on everything. The length on this team is making us so versatile.

While I agree, it's not Ball. That's the defense they're playing. And it leaves our smalls alone down low. Gotta fight through screens, and work. No easy defense in this league.

He made some really nice buckets, but he also missed some absolute gimmes. His three is also just plain awful. Even the one that went in was hideous looking in the way it hit the net. I love how he runs the offense, I really like his better than expected defense, but that shot is buhroken, it has to be fixed. You can’t keep the defense honest if you can’t make a three to save your life.

    4 blocks or something?

Yeah, his D is excellent all things considering.

    Shot though...

Overall good defensive game and made Irving and smart work on every shot. 4 blocks is definitely a rare thing for a point guard to have. This kid has so much talent. His shot just needs some fine tuning in the off season

His shot needs confidence. At this point, he can't even make a layup.

I'm in the minority, but I don't care about the mechanics. It's confidence (IMO).

I think so too. He got right to the basket a number of times and missed bunnies.

He played a very good all around game. I’m not worried about Lonzo at all. The fact he still impacts the game so much despite the shooting woes really excites me.

Besides him just changing the game and how it's played, I can't wait until Lonzo really gets aggressive. Consistantly. He's shown what he can do, like in his 2nd game 29/9/11 which was no fluke. He can do that again, not against every team yet maybe you but he's young and wants to be liked. As a result he is being too selfless to be liked by his teammates, of which all in regular rotation want the ball badly because they all have something to prove there except Bogut and maybe Brewer but he even finds them. At some point he's gonna have to go "look we're buds, but I'm taking this shot" a bit more.

He is already boarding double what Russell did and just about the same on assists. Gets 1 1/2 blocks and steals a game too. He may not score as much but I hated the way D'Angelo would just give up a score on D everytime he made one. Wouldn't get back on D. Like clockwork, the other team would score right after DLO would, everytime. Lonzo is playing better D than him by far and he's getting his long arms in places and causing problems, like under the rim.

Ball had a few drives where he couldn't make the shot at the rim. One was a put back by Ingram. Fatigue? Distraction about LiAngelo? Tough to watch. Defensively agree with @Alcindor that Ball does not quit on effort.

I like his defense... he is a role player at this point. We just need Lebron and PG and Lonzo will blossom, he has no go to scorers let alone shooters on this team.

That’s definitely noticeable, when he has the ball in his hands it seems pretty safe. We usually get an open shot, we just can’t make them. He doesn’t seem to be prone to the maddeningly lazy turnovers of his predecessor.
