I use that logic too. Oatmeal definitely cancels out any harm the bacon caused. It's why ice cream is actually healthy. Milk is good for you so it cancels out the sugar and fat.

Wow this is really a monster screw up. Both for Liangelo facing possibly prison time (unlikely I'm guessing due to UCLA high profile), getting kicked off the team (I would expect over embarrassing international incident) and a really crappy blow to the family brand that they've been building and just launched this year.
Everything I've heard about this kid, from sources near and far, is that he's an idiot and he just doesn't get it. He doesn't understand how fortunate he is, he doesn't understand how hard his family has worked for this, and he doesn't want to be great at anything unlike his brother(s?). Hopefully this is a massive wake-up call for an immature young man.
