Because he lead with his elbow and hit the guy in the face. If this was against Brook Lopez or Kyle Kuzma, we'd all be calling for an offensive foul.
No call my a**. His target the replays show was Nurkic's face with his elbow leading the way and the shot a second priority flipping it up after he connected. Didn't care if he got a flagrant 1. Look at his body language after he did it. Take that. No concern whatever for possibly breaking the guy's nose. Maybe some history earlier in the game with what Melo was on the receiving end of?
He's great to watch but playing with Lebron, now for the green army and being a flat earther is a huge turn off.
Being fake is a bigger turnoff for me. Fans just have to get used to players being real. You would not want a player on your team that does not keep it 100 on the court, do you?
Who here wanted Porzingis over DLO, Okafor? People knew he might be good but NO ONE would get him with the 2nd pick... well, maybe except sirron
yeah, the lakers FO actually liked zinger more than lakers fans and the entire media did. wasn't the word that he was the choice after russell? and this was before he started kicking a**.
Yes that was the rumor. Porzingis was a close second to Russell in the FO vision, but I think ultimately they were a little concerned about what position he'd play and how he'd grow into that lanky body.
Hindsight 20/20 spilt milk (assuming we still sucked enough to keep our picks): 2014: Nikola Jokic 2015: Porzingod 2016: Ingram 2017: Ball/Kuz Ball/Ennis KCP/Clarkson Ingram/Kuz/Brewer Zinger/Kuz/Nance Jokic/Zu
